Positive Reviews:

I LOVE this skirt, fave for running!

Rating:*****
Wow, I am so surprised to see some negative comments on this skirt! It works for me - and I LOVE it! I have FOUR of them! I'm a marathon runner and I've done a couple of halfs and a full in these. I'm 32 and I think this skirt looks great on. I don't like things tight on my waist- and this is below my waist. I do think the short skirt is flattering on my worked-hard-for-them runner's legs. I always wear a tank top with it. It is a fitted skirt and yes, it has a brief under it. So long as you know, that, great. I personally have never had an issue with the brief riding up (finally one that works!). The pocket is perfect- I can fit 3 GUs in there which could get me through a marathon. I love this skirt - I feel confident and yet still athletic (not toooooo girly) in it. On the sizing, it fits true to size for me - I generally wear a small and I love the smalls. For reference I'm 5'5", 120lbs. I came back to buy some for friends for the holidays! For the price, give it a try!

Mostly perfect

Rating:****
This is great for running or exercising at home. The skirt will rise doing floor work, exposing the pink panties, so you might not wear it to exercise class.I might wear it on vacation, hanging out at a pool or the beach.Very comfortable and sexy too.The fabric is great!I wish the waistband was more substantial, it is thin and rolls, even though I am not fat around my middle and it fits perfectly. If you do have fat around the middle you might find it uncomfortable.

Best skirt! Use this for tennis.

Rating:*****
I love this skirt - I bought one, then bought another one. I read all of the comments and went a size up. Normally I wear size 4 (small) and I got a medium and love it. I get tons of compliments on this brand (also have one of the dresses). Just know you have to go a size larger and it's what you would expect (from picture).

Lovely running skirt

Rating:****
I think it's still hard to find a very attractive yet comfortable high quality running skirt around. As a competitive runner, I participate 5K or 10K almost every weekend. I wore this skirt last weekend to run 5K. Very comfortable light weight skirt with cute color, but I wish the length were little shorter (11 to 13") and inner panty were compression shorts.

Way Too Cute!!!!

Rating:****
I've been running in this skirt for the past two or so weeks (72 miles a week), and it is so comfortable and cute, I don't want to take it off! I'm 44 years old, and I love how it fits and feels! The only thing that bothers me is that the cloth snagged with littles holes/tears after only three wearings.

FUN TO WEAR and COMFORTABLE

Rating:****
This is a great skirt as long as you keep in mind that it runs small. I read all the reviews and thought I would be safe with a medium, since most of my running bottoms are a small but I ended up returning the medium and getting the large. It is VERY comfortable and really cute on!

This is one of my favorites

Rating:*****
I bought this skirt and loved it so much I bought several more. The skirt could use a whip-stitch to help the skirt lay flat at the waist, but I still love it anyway, and I use this skirt all summer for almost everything I do from gardening to speedwork.

great product!

Rating:*****
I am a runner and have now discovered the freedom of running in a skirt! This is a great product, I own 3 in assorted colors. I have learned however they run a little small. I normally wear a medium but have to order a large in these.

Fun skirt

Rating:****
I wear a small Based upon other reviews I bought a large A medium may have been better, as it is not fitted However waist is nice, as it does not bind at all
la at Sierra Trading Post on 04/24/2008

Cute skirt, great gel pocket in back.

Rating:****
Purchased a medium and it looks more like a small. Need to lose 10lbs and then it will be perfect. Is there a biggest loser whow for those who need to shed 10?

Negative Reviews:

Don't buy this

Rating:*
I run on average 55 miles per week. This skirt is a joke. No way could you wear it on any run in which you sweat. The fabric is flimsy and really see through. There's not much substance to it... don't be deceived, this is not a running skirt that you could EVER wear on a long distance run, let alone a marathon! Also, it's awfully small, short, etc...
NTK at Sierra Trading Post on 04/16/2009

This is a Tricky Skirt indeed

Rating:*
The inner liner is way to small and I am constantly pulling it out of my bum. The waist is also low rise and I feel like my stomach is poking out as well. I would not recommend this skirt for running unless you like to be exposed!
RunnerRho at Sierra Trading Post on 11/08/2007

yuk

Rating:*
This was so awful I didn't even try it on. The material was brown, not black. The inner liner had very poor coverage for under a skirt. Mesh side panels were see thru when stretched. I will not buy from Skirt sports again.
campmom at Sierra Trading Post on 01/28/2009

Very short, for very young women

Rating:*
I'm an avid runner and love skorts but this one is just too tight and too short for anyone over 30. It would look great on a 16 year-old, but not on a 40 year-old, no matter how great the bod.

More skirt with panty than skort

Rating:***
I bought this for my wife as a 'skort' she could wear while playing soccer. I bought a couple other skorts this summer and they looked great and were a big hit. Problem with this product is that it's more of a skirt with a built-in panty - there's no "pants-leg" or "shorts-leg". They are also very snug. So when she puts her foot up to trap a waist-high ball the view is just short of indecent. If bought as a flattering alternative to running shorts, or anywhere you'd wear a skirt, these are attractive and comfortable - but definitely runs a little small (fine if you like the spandex look, snug otherwise). So she may keep and use this, but for a much more limited purpose. As long as she keeps her feet on the ground this skirt is flattering and seems of decent quality.

More for the young chick.

Rating:***
This skort is good for running, but it will show your midriff, so be prepared for this. I usually order a small in most athletic wear, but this skort was too low-slung so I had to order a medium, which fit much better. The attached underpants are rather minimal.
LRWB at Sierra Trading Post on 12/04/2008

Read the discription!

Rating:***
The skirt is comfortable, with the exception of the underpants. I was expecting shorts and got something much shorter. The skirt does have a side pocket with a velcro closer, which is great for keys, small change, or an I-pod. Love the feel, fit and look.
chefanie at Sierra Trading Post on 11/07/2008

Great concept!

Rating:***
This brand's website says their products run small- when I sized up from my normal sm to a lg I was happy with this product, although the built-in underwear still feels too small. Love the concept!

Triks

Rating:***
Triks skirt is darling, but not very practical for working out...which is why I bought it! The panty inside rides up, which doesn't allow for stretching, at least not modestly! So size up!
