| As a cyclist in the NW you become accustomed to riding in the rain and the serious need for fenders. These fenders are great at protecting you from most of the dirt and grime your tires will throw up. These fenders by SKS are the simplest fenders I have ever installed. If it looks like rain then it is a quick couple minutes to get these installed. There are no mounting screws or brackets to install behind the breaks which make these perfect for with/without fender riding. I would add that these are even simpler to adjust on the fly so it they're not positioned just right it just takes a second to shift them around. These are designed for road bike tires so mountain bike and most city bike tires would need a wider fender. | |

| These were the only option for my roadbike/racing that I commute on. I leave them on all the time and have over 300 miles on them so far with no problems. Very fair price of something made in Germany. If my bike could take "fulltime" fenders I would look for something from this company. | |

Easy to install, light and tough | |

| The no-hassle installation is the best part about these fenders. They keep the water off of you like all the others, but they go on (once you have the straps trimmed to the right length after the initial fitting) in about 30 seconds each. No fuss, no muss. | |

Not for Use with Carbon | |

| They worked as described on my Fuji Roubaix, but the bike's carbon parts make use difficult and inadvisable. The fenders have small, rubber mounting feet designed not to mar paint, but road grit gets between them and the bike, even on one ride, and it leads to abrasion. I compensated for this by wrapping the mounting locations in heavy duct tape, but that didn't even last a week. Plus, it's irritating to remove, and an eyesore when the fenders aren't attached. Also, the odd widths and shapes of the carbon fork and wishbone seat stays make mounting and adjustment difficult and temporary at best. During my last ride with these fenders just a week ago, I couldn't get the rear fender to stop rubbing the tire no matter what, so I just ripped it off and carried it in my hand for the rest of the ride. I would use these on a bike without carbon, but I'll endure the spray on my Roubaix. | |

| The SKS face fender works...however they are small and don't cover enough. the front fender only covers the front downtube..you can adjust to cover top of the front tire..but only a couple of inches...so you get top spray..I had to buy a extra set and glue fender to had extra length to the front....and I agree with another poster...the fenders lack full support..so you get fender rubs and you constently have to re-adjust the fenders... | |
