| This is my first pair of really nice, lightweight socks and I'm pretty pleased. They're substantial, but still pretty lightweight, with lots of cushion under the ball of the foot and heel. They also have an odd little padded bit at the back of the heel, which looked weird to me, but was comfortable and kept the sock from slipping under the edge of my shoes. They kept my feet nice and dry and were super soft and comfortable. | |

| My feet tend to sweat a lot. There's nothing worse than doing a lot of walking/hiking in sweaty socks. I've tried a variety of microfiber socks and nothing works for me as well as Smartwool! As the manufacturer suggests, I turn them inside out to wash them -- I think they keep their shape and last much longer than other socks I've tried. | |

| Living in the north, I am a big believer in wools socks in the winter, however, I could not be convinced to wear wool socks to the gym, in the summer no less.
