Overall, a good pick | |

| These are a nice pair of liner gloves. Even though mine developed a couple of small holes, they are still functional after 5 years of not-very-rugged use. I like them for cold weather running, because they keep my hands warm but breath nicely. They work fine for hikes in cool weather without much rugged terrain. For backpacking and hikes with more rugged terrain or cooler weather, I prefer a more rugged, windstopper glove. | |

good product | |

| Good product. Definitly worth it if you can find it on sale. In addition to the prior comments on being warm and not bulky, this has the benefit of wicking sweat from your hands and making your gloves much less stinky after days of use. These liners are obviously easier to clean/wash than your expensive leather lined ski gloves. Durability is ok | |

Love 'em | |

| Would not trade them. Lightweight, great fit, wool but 'soft/cashmere' feel. While these are considered 'liners', they were the sole gloves I wore on a recent winter 3-day backpacking trip w/temps of high-teens to low-forties. I had a heavier pair, but never pulled them out of my backpack. I consider myself a 'heat-generator', others in cold temps may need something more. | |

Great gloves | |

| I use these as a stand alone lightweight glove. They keep my hands toasty warm when I'm out & about. Doesn't get terribly cold where I live and these work perfect for my needs. I fully plan to buy another pair soon. | |

A great extra layer | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The Smartwool glove liners add the extra layer of warmth I needed with my fleece gloves. They do not itch and I am sensitive to wool. Sometimes a finger gets a little twisted but it is easy to straighten it out. | |

I need more | |

| Often on a hike, this is the only pair of gloves I need, even in 20F weather. I lost one (left hand if you see it on a west suburban Chicago trail) and have no reluctance buying another pair. | |

Perfect Liners | |

| I used these last week on a ski trip as a liner to my North Face Denali gloves. Liners fit perfectly. And provided more warmth while out all day. | |

| Great for wearing as an under mitt in extreme cold, yet warm and DRY enough to take care of business on milder days. Fantastic buy. | |

| I have rather small hands, and usually have difficulty finding the appropriate liners. I got these in XS and it was a perfect fit | |

Stylish But Useless | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Bought these as a liner under my cycling gloves. I liked them because they are thin, I tried to find a pair of silk liners but this was the thinist REI had. They do not help keep my hands warm at all! I even tried them w/ my everyday gloves and still cold digets! They are so useless that I am taking them back. | |

Just OK | |

| I use these for outdoor work and play in the winter. They performed no better than[...]cheap liners. I didn't like the short cuff which caused my wrist to get cold. Others have longer cuff. | |

size problem | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I only wish there had been a choice in women's sizes for this product. It fits well under ski gloves, but will be difficult, especially, if outer gloves come off and I need to use my fingers for smaller coordination activities. | |

| I wore these gloves mostly when I walked my two dogs and drove the car. small holes developed quickly between fingers and at tips! Sad. | |
