Great sock
I wear them daily under a heavy work boot, and also out to camp. Keep my feet from getting wet when I come inside to warm up. The only problemis when I get home and take my boots off about an hour later my feet do start to get cold. For the most part I am very happy with the socks. It is important for me who work outsice all day to have warm feet. Your socks were recomended to me by a skier. I was so pleased that i passed on the information to another person who skis.
best sock ever
I walk everyday I can, a least 2 miles or more. These socks really make a difference in how my feet feel during and after the walks. They provide warmth in the winter or coolness in the summer along with a cushion effect even if I wear my old sneakers on days when it's messy out. I wear higher crew in the winter to keep my ankles warm and the shorter length in summer with shorts.

I have worn the Smartwool socks for a number of winters now. They are comfortable in all respects and stay in place when wearing both boots and shoes. My feet are never too cold or too hot now. I recently gave a couple pairs to a close friend who was complaining of cold feet this winter. She also loves them and is now wearing them daily. The best socks ever and worth every penny.

Smartwool socks are totally worth the price. Your feet stay comfortable and dry - warm in the winter yet never too hot in the summer. They are amazing! I have several styles(crew, hiking, and short tennis shoe styles) and they all have been great.

This is the first time Smart Wool socks have turned out to be too loose. Maybe so many people have fat feet nowadays that the company decided to make the socks bigger.
