Best Warm Weather Hiking Sock
This sock is an amazing wool sock! It keeps my feet comfortable, dry and, perhaps most importantly, not to hot while summer hiking. My feet get extremely hot and sweaty very easily in the summer, but I never had a problem even when I was hiking through hot sand. These compared to the smartwool light hiking sock are much better at keeping your feet cool and comfortable in the summer. I also have hiked with the light ones, and my feet were hot and sweaty within minutes. If you are going hiking in the summer the ultra light socks are definitely the way to go. The sock has tons of ventilation to keep your feet cool, and the wool helps keep your feet dry.
Great Work Socks
My job requires me to be on my feet for most of the day, so I was looking for a comfortable pair of socks to wear with my work boots. My foot is a mens size 9 and medium was a perfect fit. The bottom of the sock is very soft yet durable and supportive of my feet.
I've been wearing them for about a month and my feet feel great after a long day's work. My feet have been nice and warm this winter without feeling sweaty and nasty. I personally have not had any issues with the socks bunching up like other reviewers have mentioned.
I'd definitely recommend these for work, everyday life, and recreational use.

Perfect for warm weather / everyday wear
These socks are great for warm hikes and I find myself wearing them to work as well. 75% of my job keeps me locked behind a desk but the rest of the time I'm running around outside, whether it be a ski slope getting ready to make snow, golf course closing down for the season or winterizing a camp ground. This are my go to socks, they keep me cool enough in the office but warm enough for short periods of time (1-2hours) outside in cooler weather. I just wish I could get more of them!
Fantastic
I am a residential remodeling contractor. Theses socks are great in the winter, summer and last a long time. The only con I have found is that they ball up a little. Other then that I love theses sock. Also I do a good deal of hiking and i have never been close to getting a blister with these socks. Most comfortable I have found.

These are amazing! They are amazingly comfortable and durable! I have used them for over 2 weeks at a time, and they stay comfortable! If they get wet you can ring them out and they dry quickly! Definitely the best socks I have ever owned and they make trips way more comfortable.
Perfection
I've owned tons of smartwool socks, and I like most of them. These ones are the best, simple as that. Not too thick for everyday wear, not too thin that you worry about wearing them out. they are the exact right balance of luxury and performance. The BMW of socks.
Excellent and don't shrink
I bought 5 of these and 3 Pategonia ultra light hiking socks a little more than a year ago. The Pategonias shrunk one size after a couple washings and I couldn't wear them anymore. These SmartWool socks seem as good as new. I only wish they came in more colors.
Great Sock for Warm Weather Hiking
This is my new go-to hiking sock for summer and warm weather hiking. Nice cushion and lightweight. Doesn't over-heat my feet. The perfect blend of wool for summer time, I even catch myself wearing them around the house. When hiking, you will want to wear it with liners.
Love
These are some comfy socks. They keep my feet dry, thermoregulated and cozy. They dont bunch up or cramp my space. I love that smartwool offers a lifetime warranty. If it's not inconvienient, you can just replace the sock when it wears out.
Best wool socks I have ever worn! Can not say enough good about them. Kept me warm in MN. Did exactly what I wanted them to, when the temp was a bit warm they were cool and comfortable; definitely 'smart wool'.
