| These socks are extremely comfortable. The system that they have on these socks wrap and hug your feet, ankle, and shin very well. They don't slide around or bunch up at all. The extra cushion on the shin part is nicely full and helps cushion against high boots. The cushion on the sole part isn't as thick as i thought it would be as compared to the Smartwool Medium Hiking Crew socks, but they thicker in certain places (toes and ankles) only as opposed to the whole sole being the same thickness. I love these socks! I would change out all my socks to Smartwool if they weren't so pricey! | |

| I previously used cotton or generic brand wool socks for hiking. A bicycling friend recommended Smartwool socks, so I dug deep into the pocket and purchased several pairs. They performed extremely well on a recent 45 mile backpacking trip to Mt. Whitney. They were comfortable, did not bunch, remained dry, didn't smell (not too bad) and washed well on the trail. I took 2 pairs, alternated days and the socks appear to have worn well. We'll see how they look in several years! Good product, I would buy again. Look for sale prices and don't get hung up on color - it's not a fashion show out there! | |

| So these are my favorite socks of all time for sure. They fit like awesome and dont move around on your feet even after miles and miles. They're also cushioned in key spots to keep the hot spots away. I'd have tons of these if they were cheaper, but for now only 2 perr 2 perr. | |
