| I used this product this past weekend while camping on sandy beaches while canoeing the lower Wisconsin River. The stakes worked very well at holding the tent in place. However, I do agree that the stakes will bend if there are rocks in the sand but what do you expect... | |

| Used these several times on snow camping trips in the Cascades this winter - worked amazingly well! I haven't tried them in sand, but they sure do their job in the snow. Lightweight and easy to use. | |

| This will hold down a tarp on a beach in huge winds. It doesn't hold up if you are thinking of using it is hard pack dirt. | |
