The Smith Stance Goggles take the popular Fuse style, and give it a a few upgrades. First of all, the Stance has an Outrigger Positioning System. This lets the strap articulate freely from the frame to give you the most comfortable fit possible with your helmet. The Smith Stance Goggles also have the widened field of vision and good peripheral view that riders loved about the Fuse, and with adjustable lens ventilation you're sure to stay fog free and seeing clearly.

I recently upgraded from a pair of Scope Pros (Smith), and I am very pleased. To be honest, I wasnt expecting much more than a restyled Scope Pro frame with a buckle on the strap. However, the Stance is so much more than that. When compared to the Scope Pro I find that the Stance fits even more comfortably with my helmet due to the out-rigger strap design, and the entire frame feels significantly more solid and sturdy. Additional benefits can be found in the thicker padding and manually operated vent that is built into the brow of the lens (which is perfect for strenuous uphill treks and warmer days). As always, the lens options from Smith are top-shelf and the warranty is awesome.Overall: Very pleased, perhaps the best Goggle for the money.
I like using my Stance goggles in the backcountry. Less expensive and function great. I don't have to worry about as much about loosing them and they crush easily into my pack. Not something I want to do with the I/O goggle. I have the Green Sol X mirror lense and I like it for super sunny days as it is a very dark lense. Having the yellow is perfect for low light conditions and it gives a trippy color changing effect.
Great value for the Backcountry price. Ignitor mirror works great in sun to shadow - haven't tried it on a poor vis day yet. First set arrived with the extra yellow lens fitted but no ignitor lens. The Backcountry guys fixed it all no hassles by just sending another pair with the right lens so I could get to the mountains.
Great universal helmet fit, leaves no room for a gaper gap.
Fits most face sizes and the lenses change out pretty easily.
Not the most durable goggle, but light and pliable.
Such a killer price point, I bought two pairs w four lenses and i dont worry about loosing/scratching...
used them all winter in all conditions and didn't have any fogging issues.
great product smith
Awesome deal for top notch eyewear. I ride a lot and have used all the major brands for goggles. These are clear and comfortable and should be considered by anyone who likes cash in their pockets.
It was my first time skiing. The days were sunny then I changed the Sensor Mirror lensses to the RC 36 ones and felt very confortable about this goggle.
I would recommend it.
These goggles fit great. If you have a smaller face/head they may not be the best fit for you. I got the ignitor mirror lens. Looks boss.
Fit me very well and are very comfortable. They don't fog up and keep snow and moister out.
The yellow lenses are better than rose in low light conditions! Love these! Plus, I love their style
Been using these for two years and they work great!
Received these goggles as a Christmas present and after the first time skiing the strap clip has broke. Would not recommend the product at all until Smith comes up with a better design than 2 little prongs that secure the clip. The prongs are the diameter of a toothpick and made of plastic - not really suprised they broke.
Average optics. Inside lens scratches very easily.
