Smith's 8" Diamond Combination Bench Stone offers a two-grit combination of our Coarse and Fine interrupted surface diamond sharpening stones. The stones feature multiple layers of micron-sized monocrystalline diamonds bonded in nickel to a flat metal surface. Smith's diamond bench stones feature a unique sharpening surface with an overlapping oval hole design that speeds sharpening by collecting and holding the metal filings which ordinarily build up during the sharpening process. This allows the sharpening surface to remain clean and clear. The Diamond Combination Bench stone give you the convenience and the versatility of having two grits in one stone, and it comes in its own pastic storage case. These stonesa re excellent for sharpening wide woodworking tools, large sport/utility knives, or kitchen knives.
