| I keep this thing handy sometimes to touch up a blade while in the field. Being compact and carried like a writing pen in your shirt pocket makes it easy to carry anywhere. I use it also to sharpen hooks and serrations when needed. It does a good job on serrated blades. | |

| I never go anywhere without a sharp knife. This product is small and light enough to go into the pack for that 'just in case' situation. I like knowing that wherever I am, I can always stay sharp. | |

Good For Serrated Edges | |

| There is no outstanding way to sharpen really dull serrated edges, but this little gadget does a nice job touching them up. The tapered end adapts to different size serrations and the fixed diameter end may be used as a mini-sharpening steel for plain edges, but there are better tools for quick touch up of plain edges. Overall, it is handy enough to own, but I would not rely on this for sharpening anything other than serrated edges. | |
