perfect plate | |

| it really is the perfect plate. in a pinch, you can also cook with it. scrambled eggs. although you need to make sure the that it is spread out the food since any areas without food will heat differently and it will slightly warp temporarily. forget about cooking with an aluminum plate as it will immediately warp & spill. unlike lexan plates, this can also double as a pot lid. absolutely no worry about it bending in your pack. it is titanium. doubles as a frisbee & fan your bbq fire. lightweight, durable, can cook with it, frisbee, fan a fire = perfect backcountry plate. | |

"THE BEST TITANIUM PLATE HANDS DOWN!!!"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I bought an MSR Alpine plate last summer it was an excellent product until my pack from the tree it was hanging in and fell right on where my plate was packed. needless to say it was ruined and i needed a new plate, with the whole titanium craze i looked into it and did a lil bit of research and the Snow peak product line is simply the BEST. this plate is AWESOME, i feel like i was lugging around so much extra weight then i really needed to with my other products. THIS PLATE IS A MUST FOR ANY THROUGH HIKER!!! | |

I don't know why I bought this.

| If you need a plate, this is the one to get. The best plate there is. Really not that expensive compared to things like pots. So for that, I give it 5 stars. However, I have never needed a plate when I backpacked. I'm not sure why I thought I would need this. Hopefully I find a good use for it. Maybe I can cook stuff that needs to be cooked in a pan on it. | |

now that I have this I take it even if I don't plan on eating a meal on it. I have used it for a solid base for my stove, a place to set stuff in the snow cave that I did not want to get wet (camera, dry food etc). It is so light and is the sides are short enough still that you can slide it pretty much anywhere in the pack. Great item.

"Snow Peak Rocks, Pricey but worth it"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Snow peak rocks!!! Have never had any problem with any of their products and this plate is no exception. A little pricey but what do you expect its titanium. Only had it a few months and it has only been on a few trips with me so I cant say anything about its durability but I expect this thing to last a long time just like all my titanium snow peak stuff has. | |

The Snow Peak Trek Titanium Plate
| Rating: | ![]() |
The Snow Peak Trek Titanium Plate is what it says - its a very lightweight plate. Sometimes when a long day of hiking comes to an end, and I don't feel like eating out of the bag, I just dump the food on there and go to town. Beats the hell out of paper plates, and it makes for a nice frisbee for an after dinner activity :)

Even Good in the Kitchen

| This is great for everyday use! I use it in the oven at home, and broil stuff on it. I have baked small batch cookies on it. It cools down quickly and is easy to handle only a short time after removing from oven. Best of all, it is dishwasher friendly. I have had mine about 3 years, and still looks new. | |

When you are worn out from a long day on the trail, river, or mountain, having your food on a plate is almost as comforting as your campfire. Just don't forget you packed it since its weight will not remind you. And not to pitch, but it does go great with the SP silverware set or spork. That said, dig in!

"Live The Plate, Love The Price"

| This plate is just the right size and is so light you won't believe it. I'm thinking about switching my kitchen over to these since it won't break like glass and it doesn't contain PBA like plastic. Now if I could just keep my friends from throwing it around camp like a Frisbee. | |

Too Small | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Too small to be useful. I also have the feeling it would bend up too easily in my backpack. I still use my lexan/plastic backpacking dish, which is better for hot recipes. I own all the titanium gear I have reviewed, and bought it from REI. Some of it I like, some of it isn't any good at all. | |
