E95 Elliptical

Rating:****
Bought the Sole E95 about three months ago, my wife and I both use it occasionally. We are using this equipment to start our home gym and with about 40 hours on the machine I am not disappointed. We have both been using the commercial ellipticals from the gym and this Sole is just as good. It's smooth, sturdy, has a great stride and at highler resistance and incline levels will provide a heck of a good work out. If you're looking for a solid elliptical I recommend this one. A couple of cons - this unit comes with a cooling fan - it looks like the fan came right out of a computer case. It is tiny and provides only a huff of air - I wish Sole would have kept it off all together or put a real fan in. The hand held heart rate monitors are not accurate at all but the E95 comes with a battery powered heart rate monitor that you strap on to your chest - it wirelessly relays your heart rate to the E95 and that is accurate. I also find the water bottle holders clunky, I would recommend to Sole that they spend a little time redesigning their console to enhance user experience but the bottom line is I am very happy with the operation of the unit - it gives a great workout and besides these couple of small annoyances I am very happy with it.

LOVE IT!!!!

Rating:*****
I just bought this elliptical and finished assembling it yesterday. I was a little worried about the actual assembly process based on some reviews I had read. Well let me tell you...I am a girl and I assembled it start to finish all by myself in about 2-3 hours. I was so excited when I powered it up and everything worked perfectly! I found some wonderful assembly reviews online that gave a heads up to some of the tricky parts. The one part that was more annoying than anything is that the parts are not labeled. They all have numbers assigned to them in the instructions and schematic, but the actual pieces are not labeled. You have to figure out what goes where and what fits on your own. But again...not bad at all. I was expecting it to be much more difficult. As far as the actual operation, I am thrilled. There was not a single squeak or wobble...this machine is silent! I absolutely love the controls for the incline and resistance on the arms. I got a fantastic workout in the first 5 minutes of trying it out. If you are debating at all just buy it! You will not be dissapointed.

We love it

Got the E95 home, removed it from the box in the garage and carried the parts into the house. We had to be creative to get the front part of the elliptical inside because it was heavy but we managed. Putting it together was not difficut if you read and follow the direction carefully. The elliptical comes with tools but we used our own. If you are not good at putting things together, you might want to have someone do it for you. Took us about two hours and we were up and running. I would say that getting it into the house was the tough part. We love the E95 but the E35 would have worked just as well and you will save around 400 dollors. Not a lot of difference between the two but I got the E95 because I like the LED display better than the LCD display. We like padded pedals because we can use it without shoes.

Wow. What a deal!!

Rating:*****
The E95 is one of those rare products that 100% satisfies me. There is not a single compromise for my family as we are all users of the E95. What struck me first was the smoothness and overall comfort. This machine feels great and doesn't hurt me in any way. Love the oversize grips, which keeps us from putting a death grip on the handles. The E95 has a unique foot bed that is adjustable for complete comfort. No sore ankles on this one. Overall it feels like a sports club machine for half the price!!! It's head and shoulders above anything else in its price range and is a darn goodlookin machine that will impress your friends. We are no exageration, 100% satisfied.

Best elliptical to own

Rating:*****
wow....what a machine. It is quite easy to put together. It does take over an hour only because of the plastic covers.
Nowhere on the instructions does it say to lube the wheels but after the first time using it they sqeaked quite loudly. We emailed techsupport to see what we needed to do and they sent us a document on HOW to properly lube the wheels. 2 small drops on a finger for each wheel. We did that and it is whisper quiet.
This has got to be the best elliptical for the money. Sole makes great products. I have the F85 treadmill and now the e95 elliptical and i have to say that i love them both.
My advice is buy buy buy

Love this machine

Rating:*****
I have always gone to the gym and used the fancy machines there. But, I wanted to workout at home too, now that I have kids and my schedule is booked for naps everyday. This machine is great, easy to use, quiet and very sturdy. We had a problem with a squeak the first month and the manufacturer sent someone out to fix it very quickly, and free. No, it's not a $4k club machine, but it also doesn't get used by 100 people a week. I would highly recommend this machine!

Great Elliptical

Rating:****
Pros: I have had this machine for a week, and I love it already. It is fairly quiet and extremely sturdy. I'm looking forward to having it for years.
Cons: It was a bit difficult to assemble so I had to have Dick's Sporting Goods come out to assemble for me.

Negative Reviews:

Broke after 2 days

Rating:*
Bought this in store with warranty in San Antonio at Alamo Ranch but the machine broke after two days. Called the warranty service center but they told to get the store to replace it. For the next month the store gave me the run around and no one would touch the machine. So far its been a nightmare on a [$]machine with warranty that I can't use.

This product had an out of box failure and Sole as a company in my opinion does not understand customers.

This a good product overall. Assembly is straight forward if you can follow a schematic. It took me at a leisurely pace about 2 1/2 hours. [...]
