Totally Dependable | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I have a pair of these boots which I bought ten years ago (in white), and they are still totally dependable in deep snow and cold temperatures. My sorels were made in Canada. Not sure if they are still made there or not, but I did buy these when I lived in Minnesota, and they kept my feet very warm and toasty while ice fishing. I'm thinking of buying another pair as my feet grew after having a baby, and they are now tight. After ten years, the only complaint i have about my white sorels is that the whiteness is now a little yellowish against clean white snow. Other than that. Love em. still dry, warm and in good shape.

Great Boots for Snow & Slush!
| Rating: | ![]() |
I recently bought these boots and put them to the test in Alaska, from Barrow to Homer. When I first got them I was concerned that they were a bit stiff around the ankle area, but they broke in nicely. They kept my feet warm and dry from walking through snow to walking along the Chukchi Sea coast. A really great boot.

Seriously The Best Shoe I Have Bought
| Rating: | ![]() |
I was kind of nervous at first for paying so much for a snow boot, but seriously this is the best investment I have ever made. They really are the softest and most comfortable shoe. whatever padding they have at the bottom always feels like you are walking on pillows. I have a bad back and it does not stress it out. Besides that they keep my feet warm, dry and really do protect against the cold. They are true to size. Overall I would buy this shoe again. I am considering a back up...two bad they don't sell them in brown or they would be perfect!

awesome! | |

I usually have trouble buying shoes (especially boots) because of a high instep so I was hesitant to order online but after seeing what people had to say about them being "true to size", I figured just to go for it. Am I ever glad I did! These are the warmest, driest winter boots I've ever had! It took a couple wears to break them in (the houndstooth boot is rather stiff at first) but I'm totally happy with my purchase, and I've been recommending Sorel boots to anyone I know who is looking to purchase great quality winter boots.

Great for rain or snow! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I love these boots! I wanted a "welly" style boot I could use for rain, because every rain boot I ever owned leaked. I used these recently in Buffalo, NY. Very warm - my feet were hot when I was indoors. Comfortable, a bit clunky but easy enough to walk in. I'm very pleased! Wish they offered 1/2 sizes, but whole sizes do fine with sport socks. I bought the herringbone pattern - feminine without being too girly, and I received a few compliments.

Great Snow/Slush boot!
| Rating: | ![]() |
I recently bought these boots and put them to the test in Alaska, from Barrow to Homer. They broke-in nicely and kept my feet warm and dry from walking through snow to walking along the Chukchi Sea coast. They fit true to size, my size 8.5 female foot fits nicely in the size 9. The "Stout" color is dark brown with lavender purple accents & laces. You can tell these are women's boots, but they are not too feminine. I would recommend these boots!

Awesome | |

I bought these boots a few months ago. And to be honest, I don't know how I got along without them. I hail from SW Lower Michigan and around here it starts to get cold and rainy around Oct. and Snow and cold from Nov. to late March, early April, then rainy season till mid May. And these boots do a wonderful job keeping my feet warm and dry. Shipping of these boots was quicker than expected as well. Great Company, Great Product.

warm | |

These boots are very warm, water resistant, stiff, and fit those of us with feet too wide to get into other boots. However, the fuzz at the top really seems to rub my shin raw. Even if I wore longer socks, I had some issues with it. Leggings are the way to go for me. But they are a good boot, and I am happy with the purchase.

| I have not worn these in the snow yet, but these fit me true to size. I normally wear a 6 and I ordered these in a 6. I wear my Sorel's with thick wool socks and they all fit fine. I like that these provide very sturdy ankle support. They keep my feet warm for ice/snow/slush. I got the purple color and they look great! | |

Comfy cozy | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
Overall, I'm very pleased with these boots. They have thankfully kept my feet nice and warm in chilly Northern Indiana temps, and they are quite comfortable despite being a bit on the heavy side (and this is coming from a Birkenstock wearer!). My one complaint is that they have minimal traction in icy conditions. But all in all I would recommend these boots to others.

Big and Chunky | |

These boots are rather stiff and heavy. The bottom of my feet tend to get cold but there are very waterproof which is a major plus....all and all...nice boots but if you got a pair of Moon boots I would opt for the Moon boots!

too big | |

| I usually wear an 8 1/2 shoe. I ordered a 9 because I thought 8 probably wouldn't fit with thick socks, but the 9 is much too big. | |
