Sorel Falcon Ridge Slippers Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I've owned a pair of these for a year now and love them. I did two things I think have contributed to my positive experience. First, I bought them one full size larger than what I normally wear. Being slippers, I wanted to be able to slide them on easily in the dark. There is a small lip at the heal of the slippers that helps them stay on. Being a full size larger my foot always lands inside the lip and never crushes it. Second, I knew I would probably be wearing these with Smartwool Light Hiker socks. This turned out to be a good assumption because my feet actually sweat a lot in these when barefoot. With wool socks on, they never sweat. I think wearing socks has the added benefit of protecting the inside of the slippers from sweat and human body oil. The slippers have stretched out a bit, but still fit just the way I wanted them to. Wearing these and a pair of 20 year old Gramicci G pants [they don't make 'em the same anymore] is my favorite way to lounge and work from home.

I ordered these and the Ugg Neuman. These are actually slippers, while the Uggs were more of an indoor outdoor shoe with a very rigid sole. I found these to be more comfortable than the Uggs as well. These are very comfortable and warm. Gotta wear some socks with them or your feet will sweat like crazy though. Although I'm not a fan of the heel type (small ridge behind your calcaneus) they fit well and do have the dreaded heel flap noise when walking like an open back slipper tends to. Hope that helps someone!

I bought a pair for myself and I love them. I was telling a friend of mine about them and decided to buy him a pair as driving shoes because he does a lot of driving. These slippers, house shoe are great for around the home or even running into the store or driving because they are that comfortable and durable Thanks Sorel and Zappos for a great product and I would definitely recommend these to anyone for slippers or just a quick throw on for running around.

Warm and comfortable.

I haven't worn slippers since I was a kid but, being 41, I was starting to notice that my feet were always cold. My wife bought these for me for Christmas and they're fantastic. Very comfortable and very warm. They also have a rubber soul for short trips outside. I'm a bit bigger than a size 12 and she bought me a 13 since someone reviewed them as running small. I'd say this is a good size for me, if a tad big. Your mileage may vary.

My wife got me these for Christmas this year, so far they are great. My only concern right now is that there are little balls of the wool lining coming out, I'm pretty sure this is to be expected as they are new. Great traction, i have run outside a few times to grab something and I haven't had any issues with sliding or water soaking through. Be careful with the upper, as the suede doesn't seem to have any treatment to prevent spots from "staining".

great slippers

These are great slippers: warm, adequate support without being overly squishy, minimalist sole which provides traction indoors without feeling like a shoe. They seem to run small however. Definitely go up a half or full size. I contemplated the 9 (being someone with shoes ranging from size 8-9.5) and I'm glad I went with the 10. I haven't had them long so I don't know if they'll stretch, but at the outset, sizing up seems to be the way to go.

Very warm and comfortable. I wear a size 10.5 us in shoes and I have a 10 in these, which fits perfectly. I took these to the local crag to wear while belaying do that I wouldn't need to put my approach shoes back on (and because it was about 40 degrees). The tread is sticky enough to hike around from climb to climb on the rocks, and they seem quite durable. I love them!

I bought these for my boyfriend and all the feedback I've heard is good! They are made from nice, thick suede leather. The inside is very soft but not so fluffy you lose footing. They keep his feet warm and the soul is textured so you could where them outside if you wanted to. Sorel = quality. What else can I say?

Natalie Ramon at Backcountry.com on 02/13/2013

I got these slippers a few weeks ago, and they are very comfortable. The black slippers have a gray interior, not as white as pictured. They fit pretty true to size, and are quite snug. I wear a size 9.5, and the 10 fits nice. The wool does pack out a little bit after wearing them for a while.

would have loved a size 14 but these will bed in nicely for years i been living with inadequacy in slippers, maybe i am getting old but these rock! super toasty great for getting kids in out of the house in a snow storm- BC country price rocked!

Negative Reviews:

Literally the inside is balling up and already starting to come out--uncomfortable!!! I received my slippers as a Christmas present, so I have been wearing them for less than a week--very dissatisfied. The outside of the slipper seems to be holding up quite well, but something needs to be done about the liner.

Neutral Reviews:

I had to return these slippers as they were too small. I ordered a size 9 and I usually wear a men's 8.5.
