| Trust this review, I used to sell top line outdoor equip. Got these in august I think. It was 90 something outside. However, I do own a pair of Caribous and they are warm, and they have nothing on these. these have insulation in the shaftof the outer boot, a thick removable liner and even a removable insulated insole in the liner and another between the liner and the outer boot. I am not worried about the cold even while winter camping or doing astrophotography. They are heavy. These are NOT made for walking long or even moderate distances. They do fit very well and would be great for outside workers (snow removal?). These are made for low activity in cold weather. They are rate to -100F, but would be great for anything below about 15F unless you are very active. Sorels fit true to size, but with the molded rubber bottom, they will never break in and are not exactly tailor made but with heavy socks they are like a walking on a cloud and fit very well. Finally, the uppers are probably water RESISTANT, not waterPROOF. If you need a boot rated to -100F, liquid water should not be an issue and they are well enough insulated that your body heat will not escape and melt the snow. | |

| Awesome Winter Boot - Best Winter Boot Ever!!! Rugged, excellent tread for all types of snow and ice. One of the best features is the height of this boot, nice and tall keeping your entire lower leg/calf warm, and enables you to walk through deep snow. The shiny rubber is flexible allowing for great comfort while walking. You can go anywhere in this boot. When I walk down the street people look at my big Sorel boots. I've gotten some comments on how huge this boot looks, but I like that about them. When I slip these boots on my foot and leg are encased in instant warmth, and they hold up to the extreme temperatures. Extremely comfortable, won't want to take them off my happy feet when spring comes. It really is like walking on air, and in the snow...its even better. | |

| Awesome Boot! I bought a snowmobile in the spring of 2005 and after getting all of the Polaris gear I needed boots, but couldn't afford the Pure Polaris boots. I found these and am I glad I did! These boots are definitely the warmest things I have ever owned, and snowmobiling in sub-zero weather on the Tug Hill Plateau in Upstate NY last winter was wonderful because my feet were toasty warm. I would highly recommend these boots for anyone looking for value, comfort and warmth when sledding or doing any winter outdoor activity. They are heavy, and wouldn't want to be walking for a long time in them, but that isn't an issue when snowmobiling. One pair of socks underneath is all I needed to wear, and the boots were very comfortable. | |

| The Bomb! These boots are awesome! I got them last week, shoveled outside for hours and all the while it felt like I had my feet resting next to the fireplace. I ordered a pair for my husband as well and he is equally impressed. We both ordered one size larger than we normally wear and are glad we did. The only run about 1/2 small, but I'd rather have them 1/2 too big than a 1/2 size too small! They are a little awkward to get around in at first, but I rather wear them and be warm (even if it means looking like a goofball!) These boots were worth every penny. | |

| Very Happy - I brought these boots for my boyfriend. He works outdoors, sometimes in very cold weather. He told me his co-workers were wearing these on a specific site and their feet were warm. SO, I decided to suprise him with a pair for Christmas. Not only was he suprised, but he likes these boots very much. He stated how warm and comfortable they are. Since the winter hasn't been that cold, he hasn't worn them at work yet. But, he dose wear them to put out the trash, to go start the car or just around the house. I CAN'T GET HIM OUT OF THEM! | |

| Polar bears would be jealous. I bought these boots about six years ago (around 1998) and have used them in several snowstorms - both in Flagstaff, AZ and in Colorado. Weather at -20F doesn't even phase them. Start out with warm feet and they'll STAY warm. True, these are big boots, but compared to the alternative of getting caught in a blizzard and getting frostbite makes them all the more attractive. Especially considering how comfortable they are - makes walking around in deep snow easy - almost feels like they're "air cusioned". You'll always find a pair of these boots in my closet. | |

| Snow boat - I work for the rail road over donner summit. Durring the winter I help keep the pass open by working snow service for the union pacific R.R. These boots are the best ones that I have used to this day. They keep my feet very warm, very confortable, and they have a very big foot print to keep you from sinking in to far in to rhe snow, I am very happy with them. THANK YOU!!!! | |

| Toasty Warm - Very bulky and a bit heavy, BUT VERY WARM!! My feet are always cold and it makes enjoying outdoor winter activities very hard. I just went snowmobiling with a high temp of 6 degrees. I wore my sorel's with one pair of socks the whole time and my feet were completely warm and comfortable. They have so much cushioning it is like walking on air too. | |

| Wonderful winter boots! I initially bought these boots to ensure warm feet during winter snowshoeing hikes into inland lakes in northern Ontario. Well, the warmth and comfort, I did get, but wow, were they heavy! They are made extremely well made, but I would only recommend them for winter sports where a lot of walking would not be required. I absolutely love these boots anyways. Thank you Sorel! | |

| Sorel Glacier - You definitely can order these in your normal shoe size. They seem to run about 1/2 size large. Nice, warm and very cushioned boot, but I wouldn't want to walk far in them as they are very heavy! I bought these for my boyfriend and although he has not tried them on yet, I think I will have to return them for a smaller size. | |

| The best boot I've ever owned! WOW! I'm certainly impressed with the Glacier! I live in Maine and spend a lot of time snowmobiling and ice fishing during the winter and was looking for a boot that, would meet my needs and after wearing these boots this last winter, I've got say that, I'm really impressed at how warm and comfortable this boot is! With one pair of socks and temps well below zero, my feet were warm as toast! I bought a full size larger to accommodate for one pair socks, the boot is a bit bulky but, I walked around in them just fine! I wouldn't want to walk around the mall all day with them but, for snowmobiling and ice fishing there perfect! | |
