Sure that 5K jacket looks dope, but it doesn't do jack when it's nuking. That's why you need something with extra cajones—like the Special Blend Men's Signature Gore-Tex Jacket. This fully taped jacket rocks a Gore-Tex shell, which is guaranteed to keep you dry. A big hood with wide front flaps means you're the dude with the least frozen facial hair. This means you can shred straight into a blizzard (or through the wettest spring slush) and roll back to your car completely dry. Special Blend gave the Signature Jacket Underarm zips for extra ventilation, and plenty of external and internal pockets for your pass, goggles, phone, and iPod.

Great Shell, Great Color Combination

Rating:*****
This is a great technical shell. It's light and has GORE-TEX, so you'll always be dry and protected from the wind. Keep in mind, that a light fleece combined with this jacket will keep you warm. If you're looking for a insulated jacket, check out the Special Blend Autograph.

Negative Reviews:

Nice looking jacket, but doesn't hold up.

Rating:**
Out of the 3 jacket that I have bought and tried, this one was the least to hold up. Normal weather. Keeps you cool with a layer under. No insulation. Good: Color is awesome. I like the blue. The outside pattern is cool. Goretex keeps everything out. Bad: One of the adjustments broke on me on the bottom. Ripped right out. The middle zipper is really hard to get up and down because it catches the jacket and the teeth aren't as spaced as others. My Four square is still a good jacket. Too bad I want a new style!

Gore-Tex is Amazing

Rating:***
My first impression of this jacket was that the material was too thin. Still feel like it won't stand up to a beating, but Gore-Tex is amazing because it really does keep all wind & water out. Even when the sun went down in Mammoth w/ only a t-shirt underneath it still kept me warm. I wish this jacket had a full storm flap & more pockets, but for $90 I can't complain. Other thing is the main zipper in the front is very stiff & the material on the sides get caught all the time when zipping up and unzipping. Also had to file down the 2 leads on the bottom of the zipper so it would engage the teeth easier.
