| Perfect school shoe for winter! We were looking for a sporty boot that can be used everyday and we are very happy with this purchase. Our son loves the way they look and feel and he even asked his gym teacher if he could wear them in gym (2nd grader) and she said yes. I would say they are a little roomy, he's a true 3.5, and they still feel like he has a good amount of room left which is great for wearing "thicker" socks. I wouldn't say they were a 1/2 size bigger just "roomier". We've bought many pairs of Sperry in the past and have always been happy with their quality. We have 2 younger boys and are so happy these will be able to be handed down. Thank you Zappos for your quality service and selection! | |

| This is the second pair of Sorel Cold Mountain boots I've purchased this season. The first pair the zips didn't last 60 days before the zipper self destructed. In their defense they were warm, which is what prompted me to buy the same boot with laces to replace them. These boots run true to size and are far more comfortable than the zip version. The laces pull the boot close around your foot, and you don't feel like you’re going to lose them every other step. They are warm, light, comfortable, far more attractive than the zips, and they take little more effort than the zips to get in, and out of. Don't waste your money on the zipper version. Buy the laces, they'll last. Buy Zappos for customer service second to none. | |

| These hiking boots are wonderful. My children have worn them all over the mountains of New Mexico. My son likes his so much, he is planning on cleaning them up and wearing them for school. He says they are ultimately comfortable & lite! Buy 1/2 size larger. My kids have very narrow feet and they are absolutely perfect for them. | |
