Sport Science makes its Men's Raglan Polywool T-Shirt with a blend of polyester and wool materials to make it super soft and durable. This special combo results in a tech shirt with more durability than straight polyester and better wicking properties than wool. The Raglan Polywool Shirt also keeps you comfortable in a greater range of temperatures than synthetic shirts, so you can play longer and harder.

I bought this for my bicycle commutes and field work. So far, so excellent. Fits well as a true base layer, warm but breathable. I find it to be an athletic fit, and the raglan sleeves are a big plus. The only negative comment I have is the sleeves can get a bit pilly, but then I did wear this thing for about a week and a half (you may say yuck, but it didn't hold much of a stink). I wore this out in the Mojave in the spring, and it worked fantastic with a mid-weight and a wind-blocking vest, totally comfortable. Also it's long enough to tuck in, so your backside won't get chilly by that sneaky devil we call wind.

A little better than pretty cool

It's a good poly shirt with some of the advantages of wool and a good fit. As a base layer I'd give it a 9 out of 10. It's a little better than a "pretty cool" but not quite a "love it".

favorite camp shirt | |

Good all around shirt for winter camping or even summer camping. I take this one everywhere, as it packs light, yet you can use it for morning chills or an underlayer for ripping across snow.

Great price, great shirt

Perfect. I wish there was more in my size so I could get one in another color. Fit is true...if you usually wear large, get a large. Super comfy!

Awesome, again | |

I now own 2 of these, and I love each one as if they were my children. Identical children, but of different colors. Best shirt ever.

comy, but stinky | |

I got this shirt hoping it could stave off some rank odors from being on a bike 10 hours a day. It doesn't even come close to doing this. about 30 minutes in, and it might as well be that patagonia capilene crap that leaves you feeling like a trash heap in summer. it is comfy, but as another reviewer stated, just another poly shirt.

disappointing | |

I really wanted to like this shirt. I bought two smalls on SAC; Im 5-10, 150. The shirts are cut and fit completely different from each other, so build quality is lacking. The worst part about the shirt is that it lacks flat lock seams causing chafing; making it extremely uncomfortable. I immediately bagged em and shipped back.

ok shirt | |

Bought one of these on SAC and loved it. I'm 5'11" with an average build and the medium fit great as a base layer. Very soft and comfy, but not too great at wicking moisture as compared to smartwool or icebreaker. I still lided it enough to buy a second one when it came up on SAC again. However, the second one seemed to be made different. The material was nowhere near as soft and even after 3-4 washings feels a little rough. The cut also is a little different - its definitely tighter around the neck and I find myself constantly adjusting it. Ok for the price if SAC or on sale, but at full price I don't think it compares to smartwool or IB.

Soft and comfy, but just another poly shirt
| Rating: | ![]() |
This shirt fits nice, is soft, and quite comfortable. That being said, I bought it because I was excited about the wool, but was disappointed to find out that it develops a bad body odor stink after just a couple hours like all other poly shirts. I guess its my fault for my expectations, but it doesn't meet what I was hoping for.
