Better than the single bands

I have been using a couple different sizes and types of resistance bands while using a DVD based workout program(not supposed to say which one). I have to use resistance bands rather than doing pull-up as I separated my clavicle several years ago and have a hard time doing pushups and pull ups. I found that after the first few weeks of the program my single strand resistance bands, regardless of their resistance weight, were running out of elasticity as I got stronger. In other words I could only stand back to increase the resistance a short distance before the bands would not stretch any further. These bands have increased that elasticity by about 20% or slightly more even. They are still not very much heavier than the 12 pound single strand ones I already have, but because they will stretch further I can increase the effective resistance by standing further back or doubling over the band under my feet. Great product to support a resistance workout for a moderately in shape individual.
