Everything seems just right |

| About me: 6'3'', 200lbs, I got a large and it fits well-- sleeves long enough (I wear 35-36" sleeve shirts, 35" waist), not too bulky but not too fitted through body. Avid skier living in southern USA. I haven't taken this jacket skiing yet, have a trip planned to Blackcomb end of Feb. I tried on at least a dozen different jackets from Outdoor Research, Marmot, Lowe Alpine, etc. This is the only one that combines everything just right for a ski jacket. First and foremost, the jacket is designed for people with an athletic build (unlike Marmot, which is designed for overweight people). It's not super bulky, so if you're overweight by a little, or you're very fit, it will fit you nicely. If you're fat, look elsewhere. Second: The pockets are PERFECT for skiing. You can pack LOTS of stuff in the many pockets, and the clever way the jacket is designed, it hides the bulk very effectively, without making you look pregnant (like the Alpine Ascent-stye jackets do with their huge stomach-level pockets). Plus, when you put things in the pockets, since they're at chest level, they stay out of your way when you're skiing. It even has fleece-lined handwarmer pockets! Third: There is no hood, so be aware. What there is, however, is a nice, wide open, high collar that is lined with comfy fleece. It will easily block the wind and accomodate a neck gaiter. Truthfully, if you wear a helmet and you're skiing the resorts (as opposed to the backcountry), a hood is nothing but a snow-catcher and a wind-flapper anyway, so you probably won't miss it. I won't. Fourth: The powder skirt is well-designed and it doesn't cinch the jacket up funny like many jackets I tried. Fifth: The style is very nice and the colors (I got the red and orange) are contemporary and cool. Sixth: The material is durable and light, but not too light for a ski jacket. Seventh: The cuffs are velcro, and cinch down and hold nicely. This is a big deal. Lots of otherwise good jackets screw up the cuffs. Eighth: The vents look like they'll work well, but I would have preferred true pit zips. Overall, this is the best-designed ski jacket I have ever put my hands on. You won't be disappointed, especially at this price. |

| Very good price for an excellent Spyder product. It just is a bit off as far as the sizing goes......Have worn Large size in many other Spyder jackets, but this one is a bit off......Just have to deal with it....otherwise, great product. |

Not too bulky and very comfortable. |

| This jacket is very comfortable and not too bulky for those who prefer to layer as opposed to heavy single layer. |
