Spyder has created this unique fitting, and elegant Heiress Jacket with coordinating contrast topstitching with custom embroidery, these details make this jacket different and stand out from the rest. There is faux fur trim around the hood which gives this jacket a soft look when the hood is on. This hood is removable, and is easy to zip off should the weather clear and you are seeking a different look altogether. The body fabric is made of a stretch metallic with XT.L membrane and Spylon. This fabric is an ultra thin membrane that delivers superior waterproofnesss and breathability which will keep you dry, warm and at your constant comfortable temperature. This thin technology results in a pliable fabric that is lightweight yet durable, with benefits that include stretch recovery, this fabric will last season after season of constant use. Spylon is a durable water repellent finish that is applied to the exterior fabric to prevent this jacket from absorbing surface moisture, this technology will keep you dry and protected as you go from blue squares to black diamonds in style.

We got the coat in green - it's really cute. We are returning it though because the powder skirt is just a cinching of the waist not a separate piece of fabric and the sleeves don't cinch either. If you weren't using it for skiing, I don't think those lack of features would matter.
