The Fusion Photon is Sterling’s first half rope that is also certified to twin. It was manufactured to have a perfect balance of diameter to weight. Designed to round out the Fusion series as a performance half rope, the Photon is small and light, making rope drag less of a concern over long or windy pitches.

This rope is great. I got the 80M for ski mountaineering to use as a single to ski-belay and its long enough to double when I need it for vertical travel and rappels. I liked it so much I bought a second one and use it for wondering multi-pitch rock, with good rope management your able to string together really long pitches. I will say that it has gotten super dirty, haven't washed it yet, but that may be a by-product of its skinny diameter.
