good performing line at a good price
I don't use mono very often, but was looking for something a little better than the classic Trilene XL I had been using. I would say it's not earth shattering, but definitly a notch above. Seems to spool a bit easier, lays nice on the reel, and casts a bit smoother.
Any mono you buy is not going to last very long, you are better off finding a less expensive option and changing your line more often. This is my new mono of choice. The big spools are convenient and cost effective for me to spool one of my reels and both my sons reels the beginning of each season.
this is one of the strongest lines ive used . sure braid maybe stonger but for mono ive used them all and this is the strongest ive came across . recently used it for drifting spawn for salmon hooked up on one that wrapped me up around a log thought i was going to have to break it loose but was able to pull it back around with out breaking it off . when landed she wieghed 28 lbs
Put it on 3 baitcasters, let it sit on reel 24hr. then threw each 1 dozen or so times, very smooth, NO backlashes,i'am NOT a pro at this. amature ? It will reel in the fish to. Works great on spincasters also, even on an old Johnson crappie pro. Hi vis line helps, I'am 70 yrs. overall very good line, surprized me how well it worked.
The best line!
This is my third spool of this line and it is absolutely amazing. It is the best mono out there for the price. I love the bright yellow color, and have it on all my rods except my baitcaster which has 30lb braid. Fish can't see it but I can. I have tried other brands and this is much higher quality.
sufix fishing line
This is by far the best line ive used yet, its super strong and i can see the line which is very usefull to me. Used it on the Mississippi River many times and up in northern Wisconsin last week i just love it.Thankyou for providing this great product,Steve T.
My goto mono
Have used this for any application when mono preferred. This year while trolling for walleye, I hooked and landed a 47", 29 lbs toothy northern on 10lbs Elite without benefit of a leader. The previous year the same line landed a 33 lbs laker... good mono.
Now I buy Sufix line for gifts
I started fishing with the yellow line and found that it is easy to see and easy to handle. After catching a lot of fish, my fishing buddy stated asking about this line. This year I bought a couple of spools for his birthday.
The sufix quality and reputation helped me decide to use this line in my quest to catch a trophy steelhead on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. I leave next week and will let you know the end results. Wish me luck!!
perfect line for all situations !!
the high viz yellow line is a MUST for fishing structure and deep cover, easy to maneuver around brush piles and high visibility even on cloudy days, verrrry low memory, have bought 8 spools in the past month !!
The product shipped quickly. I plan to use it as backing on a Saltist reel in Alaska kayak fishing. I understand it keeps the spool from spinning when it is front ended by heavy test braided line...
