I use a pair of these in my winter boots. I live in the city, and often tend to go for long walks, miles at a time. Since I have low arches, that can be painful if the shoe does not have enough support. Superfeet is my solution. Basically putting these inside my boots makes them feel like sneakers, and for boots that have a removable furry insole (like Uggs), it does not get any better than that to get that warmth and comfort at the same time! Keep in mind though that if you are looking for soft padding/cushioning from your insole, Superfeet is not for you. You would be better off getting other brands like Lynco Aetrex, Spenco etc. for insoles. Superfeet has the philosophy that when you are going to be active (like walking , running, hiking, cycling etc.), what gives your feet max support for mobility is firm support, e.g. everybody loves soft cushy pillows, but most people sleep on hard beds to get support for their backs so you don't end up with back aches. Its the same idea. Since I tend to be very active, I find that to be true - the cushier/ more padded premium insoles I have (such as Lynco, which cost me almost twice as much) just don't support my feet as well as Superfeet.

These are wonderful - These inserts are wonderful if you have plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, or other foot problems. These were recommended to me by my podiatrist. These black ones are somewhat more low profile than the blue version; they work better in dressier shoes. A couple of tips: #1 these work best in shoes with removable insoles, but can still work with any shoes as long as you have enough room. #2 if your shoe feels too tight in the toe area after adding these insoles, you can trim off the toe portion of the insole. The part that supports your foot is only about the back half of the insert. The front is just foam and really has no orthopedic purpose. If you have foot problems you will notice a big improvement after using these inserts. At first they may feel a little odd, but give them a day or two and you will be amazed.

Amazing - My daughter is a figure skater and nine months ago we purchased her new skates and recently she started to complain that her feet were hurting her, causing blistered, raw heels - we consulted the store where we purchased her skates and they thoughts perhaps her skates were too small - after looking at photos of her feet he realized her skates were too wide in the heel and suggested purchasing Superfeet. We ordered Superfeet and UPS delivered them to our home in less than 48 hours after ordering! We put them into the skates and did not even need to trim. After skating for two hours our daughter got off the ice and when I asked her how the Superfeet felt her reply was one word - AMAZING. Thank you Superfeet for saving us in spending several hundred dollars in new skates.

Works well - It works well and looks good (not like the awful bright colors). It takes a little time getting used to and I have flat feet so this does help with the pain I get occasionally while walking. They give more arch support, rather than cushioning. So if you're looking for cushioning, these aren't the ones you're looking for. The Premium Black is the thinnest of the Superfeet line, I believe. I planned on getting another pair for my other shoes, but it looks like Zappos ran out of the ones in my size!

Good orthotic for 50-year old feet - This year I began to put inserts in my sneakers and now my pumps. I ordered these, never having used this brand before and am very satisfied. My feet pronate and one foot has a Morton's neuroma. These definitely help. I've learned that you can't put an orthotic on top of the shoe's regular insole - otherwise you'll walk out of the shoe; you probably knew that already - so I ripped out the insoles of a beloved and well-worn pair of flats. All is well.

I bought these for my 13 year old son, who has extremely pronated feet. The shape does help to support his arches, but the arch shape isn't so extreme as to be uncomfortable, as some supports are. He uses them in running shoes that he wears for daily use, and he says they are comfortable. He's only had them in for about a month, so it's too early to tell how durable they are. They are, of course, not as supportive or fitted as custom inserts, but they are much more affordable.

More support than cushion - I ended up returning the Superfeet Black. I have a pair of Johnston & Murphy dress shoes that have quite a bit of support, but not much cushioning and so I thought I'd help with an insole. These are sort of the reverse -- LOTS of support via not just shaped foam but an actual rigid plastic heel/arch support, and then a very thin foam pad over it. It seemed very well made but again, was just the opposite of what I needed for this particular shoe.

Worth the pricy price!!! My doctor told me about Superfeet. He said get the GREEN. So I did, they felt ok at first and did help my feet, BUT THEN I noticed my arches were tired all the time and hurting. I read about Superfeet and found that if you don't have high arches the BLACK are the ones to get. I got those and my feet feel so GOOD no hurting arches. These are great they cost a lot but are well worth it...

Best insoles I've tried - These are perfect for dress or leather-soled shoes. They are low-profile enough to work in more fitted shoes & boots, but still add some real support & padding. These are nothing like gel inserts or formless comfort pads, there is a defined heel cup and just enough high-density padding to give your feet what they need. My boot fitter uses only this brand for hiking and outdoor wear - I'm very happy with them for dress shoes as well.

Great support, not too hard - I do Jazzercise 4 days a week and I have weak knees and experience knee pain when exercising. After replacing my insoles with Superfeet insoles, I have no more knee pain. My shoes still fit the same and feel the same. The Superfeet insoles are made stiff and I thought it would take a little time to get use to them. Not the case with these. Highly recommend if you experience knee pain during any exercise routine.

Ok insole - I have had the Superfeet shoe insole, for about 2 months. My foot is wide and does not fit very well on this tight fighting insole. I also have a low arch and the arch support is just not enough. This is a great insole for cleats and very low toe profile shoes.

I brought these as an alternative to going to the foot doctor and spending several more hundreds of dollars on orthodics. I follow the break in instructions included with the set. After a solid week they felt very comfortable. However, some work days I spend 6 plus hours on my feet and the old familiar pain (from being flat footed) returns. I would recommend these to any one with flat feet, but don't expect a miracle. They are great for an hour or so of standing/walking, but it looks like I'll be heading back to the doctor to try orthodics again.

Takes up more room in the shoe than I had hoped. For tight shoes, that can be a problem in the toe box. Good for some shoes, not for others.
