Compared to the traditional Suunto heart rate belts, the new Comfort Belt sports fabrics that feel soft against the skin while traction strips keep the belt snug. The removable transmitter module lets you to throw your Comfort Belt right in the washing machine.
The t1c is the 'bare-essentials' model in the Suunto t-Series. It monitors your real-time calories burned, provides 3 adjustable heart rate zones plus a heart rate limit alarm if you are over-exerting, and includes a stopwatch. There's also the standard watch functions (time, date, weekday) as well as a dual time display, backlight, and a single daily alarm.

| I love this watch! Not only is it great big and in a great big color the orange is awesome with a tan!, it's also really user-friendly. While initially I was annoyed to have to read any directions at all -- for a watch, especially -- once I gave in it only took a few minutes before I had the hang of it. Also, the heart rate monitor a band around your chest is comfortable and virtually unnoticeable. | |

| This is a great basic heart rate monitor. The belt is super comfortable and does not feel like it is on. The watch is pretty easy to set up and use. I have no complaints about this HRM and would recommend it to others. The face of the watch is sort of big for my wrist, but the wrist belt does fit. It's awesome to see the burned calories add up! | |

| i have the orange watch, which is really cute to wear (even when i'm not at the gym). i use the watch in spinning class and while i'm running. it's great to keep track of my heart rate and i love to see an accurate calorie burn! it's really easy to set up, and i had no trouble getting watch to sync with the chest-strap. love it! | |
