| While this bar does not pack 20g of protein, the 7g is balanced against 7g of carbs, plus it is only 70 calories, instead of the 190 to 200+ calories most protein bars have. For those on a weight loss program who need something in the middle of a workout or right after to make sure your body isn't being sacrificed to the effort, these bars are terrific, taste great and are moist, plus the meat flavor with the cranberry I find psychologically fills my need for protein. Also, you can leave them in the car for just in case times and not worry about a sticky mess when you open them up. These bars have helped me to lose over 78 lbs from November 2008. You do need to watch that you don't accidentally swallow the preservative packet that is on the inside with the bar when you take out the bar. | |
