Taylor Made Tour Burner Fairway Wood - (High Launch)

Met a friend at the driving range who had this club in his bag. He said the club was an 09 burner fairway wood and told me to try it. The club really felt and sounded good. I ordered one for [$] from Dick's and recieved the club within a week. I am hitting this club about 190 yards off the tee and about 180 off the fairway. I was surprised at how easy it is to hit off the fairway. It's not magic, you still have to hit it square, but it is much more forgiving and the ball tends to flys straighter. I may take a look at the driver. Right now I use a Ping G-5.

I am a novice (2nd year) golfer who was about 25 to 30 over par on 18.

I bought this to compliment the TM Burner (2009) Driver I bought (at DICK's) on clearance. I didn't realize at the time I could REPLACE the driver with this club. Off the carpet in the Tee box I am consistently 190 to 205 yds (and straight!)with this club. I am only driving 220 on a good drive and then it's hit and miss for my slice/hook.

Overall, with the driver and 5 in my bag I've gone 9 over on 9 twice and 20 over on 18 once. I like it..a lot!

I'm giving this five stars now but I have only hit this in one round. The club felt amazing! I haven't hit a 3 wood in 3-4 years (hitting hybrids) but needing something a little longer than my 2 hybrid (17*) I decided to go with a 3 wood. First shot was a tee shot and about 250 down the middle of the fairway and that's almost what I hit my Tour Burner driver. Just as easy to hit off the ground with a great weight to it. Nice sound with each solid hit. TaylorMade hit a hole-in-one with this club. Haha.

After using a set of hand me down Nicklaus woods, i walked into dicks, picked up this club because of the sale price and am i glad i did. I am now ripping it off the tee 260 - 290 yards, As if that weren't enough it seems to have straightened out the flight path too, At only a [$] it should pay for its self in golf ball i wont lose this season, Thinking about getting a new driver now

Next to the driver and putter this is the most used club for me. I had lost significant distance with my old fairway wood but with this club in my bag I am able to reach green on long par five holes comfortably even when hit not so solidly at the tee box. I will get used to it for a consistent hit each time.

I just purchased the 3 wood and I am very impressed with it. I am able to hit the the ball around 200 yards off the tee and 180 in the fairway. The ball gets up quickly and goes very straight. I purchased it when it was on sale, great price and great service from Dicks Sporting Goods.

Just bought a 3 & 5 wood at a very good price. The clubs I bought were shipped from Colorado to Oklahoma in just a few days. I would buy from Dick's any time that I need sports equiptment. We just had a store open in Oklahoma City and am thrilled to be able to shop there.

This club is great for long aproach shots in the fairway. Just played my first round of golf with the club and the club performed just as I had hoped it would. My friend tried it and loved it also during our round and I was worried that I was not going to get it back!

When I took my first swing in your 'driving range' I knew I was going to buy the club. I just took a couple more swings just in case, and they felt progressively better! Bought the 3 & 5 woods. I am seriously thinking about the driver now! Great clubs!

It was all I expected it to be. I bought it to compliment my same model TaylorMade driver and I was not disapointed. It has incredible distance and feel as well as being very forgiving. I would highly recomend this club to anyone looking to improve their game.
