Love These Clubs

I'm just starting out in golf at the age of 50. I bought the steel shafted version online at Dick's on sale for under $300. I haven't seen them at that price again anywhere so I realize I got an amazing bargain! I also bought a 2009 TM Burner driver which I really like. At first I struggled with these irons pulling to left until I realized I needed to have them fitted (I'm on the short side and noticed the toe was too elevated and the heel was catching). Once fitted at Dick's I'm hitting the clubs really well for a beginner. I've been playing occassionally for 5 months total now, 3 months with these clubs, about 5 rounds total and with 1-2 days a week at the practice range, and I'm expecting to break 100 soon. Maybe that's not impressive to some, but I feel my progress is quite good for the time I'm putting in. I'm just learning the importance of the short game too. No lessons yet either, just some basic swing tips from an overbooked golf clinic and from my son who's been playing 6 months more than me. I really think the clubs have a lot to do with my rapid progress and the enjoyment I'm getting. Mishits are very forgiving unlike the Top Flite clubs I started with. I tried the top flights again at the range comparing to these clubs and the results with the superlaunch irons are significantly better (longer, straighter and more forgiving). I think these clubs are awsome and would benefit beginners and experienced golfers alike. Next on my agenda is reading some books on the golf swing and possibly some individual lessons.

Set a personal record!!!

On average, I play bogey golf. Took these clubs out today for the first time since I purchased these and set a new personal record of 5 pars in a row. Still ended the day at bogey golf due to a couple of triple bogeys due to some driver problems. These clubs are said to be forgiving and that they are! Could tell I missed the ball a couple of times but the giant sweet spot really came into play and still allowed awesome shots coming from bad swings. I wouldn't pay too much because I actually got these at an online special price of [$]. Not sure how because I haven't seen them that low anywere since I bought these last week. I believe it was [$] delivered to my door.

Irons that will make golf fun again!!!

I had a set of Callaway x-20's and I just had so much trouble make good contact with them. I tried everything to hit these clubs with accuracy. It was so bad that I had no desire to play golf or even go to the driving range. I went with my wife to Dick's and they had these clubs at a great price. I tried them out in the hitting tunnel and I was killing the ball with these irons. Every shot that I hit felt solid. My birthday was coming up so my wife bought the set and I took them out to play the next day. I had so much fun playing again and had the lowest score that I have every shot. Thanks Taylormade!

Best Clubs Ever!!!

I bought these clubs a couple of weeks ago and now have two rounds under my belt. Let me tell you, these are the easiest clubs I have ever hit. I'm just getting back into playing after a long time away from it, and it was like throwing darts. Over two rounds I missed 4 greens with many within 20 ft of the pin. These clubs are at least 1 club longer and straight...AWSOME is all I can say!!

Great clubs

I have played about 10 rounds with these clubs and I am definitely hitting the ball much more accurate than my previous ping eye 2. These clubs are really forgiving when you hit a slight miss hit. I purchased them for half the price listed so I feel I got quite the bargain. I would recommend these clubs to anyone trying to take their golf game from beginner level to amateur level.

Amazing

I love these clubs. I had a set of Taylormade r7 irons, I then switched to these and dropped 6 strokes off my score. I'm very consistent with them and can hit it straight every time. Bottom line, best clubs ever

Very light, fast, straight, and long

Easily the best Irons I've ever hit: Every club is very reliable and the ball flight is very consistent. I got the stiff shaft set with the SW, and they're all VERY, VERY NICE.

excellent value, sorry I waited so long

The weight helps my club head speed and the grips are excellent right out of the box.
