A Little Extra | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Bought these to wear under pants for extra insulation without bulkiness for extended outdoor cold and they do help. Surprised to feel a cold air flow around my legs under pants going out and coming in on/off. Especially didn't expect that since these are wool and bought these because I can't stand synthetics against my skin which do give the hot/cold weirdness. I'm 5'1" and the large fits and for you taller ladies, they do stretch lengthwise quite a bit and overall after a day of wearing. They aren't itchy at all for me and feel soft and comfortable. I like that they do cover my ankles and are snug with wool socks pulled over, also good for indoor draftiness around the ankles set up like that. | |

These Woolskins bottoms kept me warm!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I love these bottoms - I like the warmth of wool - don't like synthetics and cotton isn't warm enough so these are marvelous and they don't itch. I've already washed them and partial dryer then hung to finish and they're same as new. I wore them in the house under my corduroy slacks while I kept the temp set at 68 degrees and I was toasty warm! I wore them while shoveling snow from the drive along with my regular slacks and coat. They keep you warm! | |

Excellent for reenactors

| Have not tried truly exercising in it, but it was wonderful at keeping my legs warm under historical gowns in sub-freezing, high-wind conditions. Wish they had a version with feet! Nice that it was thin enough that I could easily wear my period hosen over it. Glad I bought a large instead of medium, I think medium would have been too small. Recommend buying next size up from your measurements. Nice for taller ladies; I'm 5'-9" and the length was great. | |

Fantastic Buy | |

| I wear these to classes almost every day as a light extra layer to keep me warm. They are light enough that indoor temperatures are not uncomfortable but warm that walking between classes in 30-40 degree weather isn't cold either. They are wool, soft wool, but still wool. The first wear was slightly itchy but stick with it and it does get better. | |

warm and lightweight | |

| Just finished a day of skiing wearing these long underwear. They are light weight but quite warm (14 degree temperature) and not scratchy. They are just a little bit tight in the hips/rear end, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. I expect that they will stretch. No leg cuff-which is fine for me, but some might not like that. | |

Just what I needed! | |

| I bought these for wearing under my everyday clothes in the winter. I have had them a week or so now, and they are just right - good fit, not itchy, warm but not too warm. I have short legs (28" inseam) so the length is great for me, but taller people may find these a bit short for them. | |

The BEST! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| As an active, outdoor person living in Oregon, I have to be prepared for all types of weather all year long. As a base layer, these are really the best. Non itchy, warm, wicking, fast drying and do not retain body odors like synthetics. I have several sets and use them all the time, all year long. | |

Nice but a little scratchy
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These are light like silk thermals, but made from merino wool. They are a little scratchy. I'm not that sensitive to wool, and I am fine with them, but someone with very sensitive skin would probably find them uncomfortable. Other than that, these are great for running and cycling in cold weather under regular or fitness wear. | |

So much better than polyester
| Rating: | ![]() |
| You know that feeling after you've been out all day in the cold and you just can't wait to get out of the fleece and polyester and put on some cotton? Well that feeling is gone when you wear these long underwear. Who would have thought that wool would feel so good? | |

Pretty sweet wool leggings

| I haven't had a chance to really test these babies out, but so far so good! I have a friend who spent winters in Estonia, and she swore by these things... I'll give them a whirl for some winter work in Wisconsin. I'm pretty new to this whole winter thing! | |

rise too low | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I ordered the top and bottom, probably should have ordered both in Medium, but I wanted them to be close fitting. Well, the bottoms were really tight through waist, hips and top of thigh... the rest was a bit baggy. When it comes to warm base layers I want things to be close to the skin, move well, and overlap. I don't want the waistband to bind or synch me in too much, and I don't want the top and bottom to migrate in opposite directions. I knew that even if I exchanged these bottoms for a MED. I'd still be tucking and pulling everytime I sat down or bent over. They were also slightly itchy, another sensation I don't want from my base layer. I returned them, but kept the top. Love the top! | |

Not as pictured! Bare elastic waistband!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The photo clearly shows a covered waist band but what I received was a thick, stiff, bare elastic waistband. I also found them to be short in the legs and the waist. May be good for wearing under low-cut jeans, but not for keeping your waist warm in the winter. The ankle width was roomier than I expected given these other issues. I was also expecting them to be thicker and softer. They are quite thin and not at all soft. I will be sending them back today. Definitely not worth $30+ | |

Too itchy! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Was hoping these would be my all-purpose under-pants lining this winter, but they were too itchy. They seem well made and might be good for someone less sensitive. | |

Odd fit | |

| I returned this product because the fit was uncomfortable and odd. I am slender and 5'5''. I found the legs baggy and the rise too short and constricting. | |

Warm, but exposes ankles to the cold!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I wear these all the time, from the time I wake up till the time I get ready for bed. They are warm and comfy. BUT, warning, unless I have long socks on to keep these thermals in place, the bottom rides up and exposes my ankles and lower legs to the cold. There is no special ribbing at the bottom to help them stay put. While I like these, I would probably not buy another pair. I plan on trying some other (though more expensive) brands. However, if you are on a budget, these will do (just keep long socks on hand!). Also -- I ordered a size up; worked out fine. | |

It is WARM. | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| It is a product will be nice to wear it at home or on a not active cold day. I got the top and bottom and only wear the top for one day out snowboarding; it was too warm even in a cold day and when it gets warm it does make me feel itch a little. I return the bottom and kept the top after all because I meant to get it for me to be on the mountain outdoor. | |

A big disappointment | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I was hugely disappointed with the overall performance. I had bought the silk kind before and they were great. I thought the wool kind would make me feel even warmer but did not find much difference, just more expensive! The pants were way too small and I am pretty small myself. The crotch came up too high and the waist band felt so tight. | |

should have bought an ex-large
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I suffer from lower extremeties problems such as cold weather and my legs are cold all the time, I have to bundle up all the time in house and out, I wish that they were warmer and bought them a bit larger as they had shrunk and noticed that they didn't keep me that warm as the cotton. Great price I have to say. | |

A little scratchy | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These are short-waisted (which I am, too) so they fit me well. They are a little scratchy, but not enough to be bothersome outdoors, and I wear them as a base layer. | |
