Great all-around casual shoes

I just bought my second pair of these shoes, and have left them in the box in my closet, in case my first pair wears out someday. I've had the first pair for over a year, and wear them often, primarily as casual shoes, but also for travel, canoeing/kayaking, and as my everyday bedroom slippers. They may be my all-time favorite shoes. They are extremely comfortable, with a roomy toe box. They fit snugly when hitched tight, and still stay on well when worn unhitched. They are excellent travel shoes. On a week-long trip to NM last year I took two pairs of shoes - these and my hiking boots. They are perfect for long flights and car rides, as well as for walking around towns and airports, and they slip on and off easily for security checks. They are not supportive enough for hiking on uneven terrain, but I suppose you can't have everything. After a year the first pair still looks and performs almost as new, although I have had to re-rig one lace because it frayed and would no longer tighten. The only negative is that they run a size small for me, but knowing that in advance lets me size up.

Bought two pairs

I bought a pair of this specifically for a trip to Galapagos. I love these shoes and wear them while cycling, in my kayak, sailing on my sloop (e.g. appear to be non-marking soles), around town, while driving etc. This is a great summer shoe - dries easily - is comfortable to walk/run through airports in. Also - I have worn these dry, wet, fresh-out-the-box, with sand, gravel, etc and have never gotten a rash or blister. I bought another pair for when these rot out. My only complaint per se - not so much with the shoe - but with type of shoe in general - is that this shoe initially retains a lot of water - so when you are hopping from beach into zodiac or whatever - you need to wait a few seconds for shoes to drains - otherwise you will splash all the others in the zodiac - as you swing your sopping feat in. Again - this last comment is for this type of shoe in general.

Great all-around shoe, land or water

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. The wrong size was sent out accidentally at first--do check to make sure the inside tag on the shoe itself corresponds with the box label/what you ordered. But once we had the right size, he could not be happier. He wears them all the time around the house, saying they are so light and comfy it feels like he has nothing on at all. Honestly, he has not put them to the test with water yet, but it looks like they will work great. He plans to use them for fishing, stream crossing when hiking, and just bumming around the campsite.

Teva always great

I bought these for wet wading some streams but mostly kayaking. They feel like a superior product like all the other Teva's I own. They are probably my favorite shoe company period at this point. I wear their athletic shoes too. I can't speak for the durability of these but they sure feel it. Good fit, comfortable, breathable. I can't wait to break out the yak for Labor Day and try em out.

Better than expected...

Great multipurpose shoe! I've worn them comfortably both with and without lightweight socks. Easy to adjust and easy on/off. They don't make my feet sweat when worn barefoot. Not scratchy on barefeet like some amphibious shoes. Good grip on wet decks. Can be a little "sloggy" until they drain off completely after being dunked. I plan on using them for wading once the weather warms up. Would buy again!!!

My new favorite light duty shoe

My new favorite shoe for wearing around the Camp. I needed a shoe with good ventilation that lets my feet breathe. This shoe does that exceptionally well. I just got them so I can't speak on durability or how they perform in the water, but they are great so far.

Paddling in Tevas

I bought a pair of Tevas six months ago and the heel separated from the shoe. I sent them back and they gave me a refund with no flack. Even though the shoes were defective I decided to try a slightly more expensive pair. Time will tell

True to size - Perfect for Cruise

More than just a 'water shoe'. Was looking for something to wear on the way to the water at time such as transporting the kayak over a hot beach or pavement and not having to have another pair of shoes for use in the water. Highly recommended.

Teva Sunkosi 2 Shoes

Finally found a pair of shoes that keeps the sand out. Great on rocks and comfortable too. A bit slow to dry but take the liners out and it helps a bit. Better than any others that I have tried.

THE BEST WATER SHOES BAR NONE!

NEVER A PROBLEM WITH POOR DESIGN OR CONSTRUCTION; DRIES QUICKLY, NO "WET SHOE/MOLD ODORS." I GIVE THESE AS GIFTS TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND THEY ALWAYS ASK WHERE THEN CAN GET THEM, FOR THEMSELVES OR OTHERS.

Did Teva test this product ?

I bought these shoes as a replacement for some older Columbia water shoes. I like everything about them except, the toggle on the laces does not release when you press down on it, so you can adjust the laces. There is a small flap that covers the toggle when it is cinched down that is questionable. The flap is secured by a very small piece of velcro, not big enough in my opinion when walking through brushy areas. It really irritates me that a manufacturer does not take the time to see if the product does what it supposes to do. What gives, did they think I would not notice this. I like the shoes other wise; comfortable in a kayak, and hiking up sandy washes. I called Teva and they told me I could send them in to them. I would like to be able to use the product without sending it in for warranty work.
