Great jacket for fall and rainy days.

I just got the asphalt gray/ tnf black apex pheumatic jacket and I was not disappointed. The large fits well around the wrists, waist and chest for me although I wish it was slightly longer. The left chest pocket is great for my wallet or cell phone.
I tested the waterproof nature of the jacket by sprinkling some drops of water on the arm and chest and they were not absorbed by the material. The water beads up and rolls right off the jacket. I haven't gotten to test it out in the rain yet but it should have the same effectiveness in wet weather.
The inner lining of the jacket keeps me warm but not sweaty which I found convenient. I would recommend this jacket for windy and rainy weather around the fall but when winter comes around, this should make for a great inner shell. I like the gray and red color but there should be other colors like green or purple for sale.

Love it so far!

I had an off brand lightweight jacket for the last 5 years. The time came for it to be laid to rest. So I was on the hunt, and I was drawn to the columbia jacket at first. I liked it, but I really wanted to try the north face. I am not a huge person, but I am not small either. So I had to get the XXL so that it wasn't tight in the arms, back, and shoulders. I also wanted to be able to wear it under a sweatshirt if needed. It's great, its lightweight and sometime I forget that I have it on. I even purchased the north face vest to fit over top of it. So far I am not having buyers remorse! I am sure that this purchase will last longer than my off brand 5 years ago. Thank you NF!

Great Product

As an owner of the heavier APEX Bionic jacket, I was looking for a lighter weight version for Spring / Summer, and found this in a local store. Had to order the Large online, as the store was out of it, and was happy when it arrived and was just what I wanted. Good for those warm days when it's raining - haven't tested is in a heavy downpour, but in light to medium rainfall, it has held up. Water is repelled very well, I stayed dry, and didn't sweat on the inside (a huge plus as other jackets tend to make me sweat inside the jacket, which defeats the purpose of wearing it in the rain in the first place!). Wind protection has been great as well. Definitely recommend! Thanks again , NF, another great buy!

Great jacket for the fall season

I purchased this jacket for my husband and he loves it. The sizes run true to the sizing calculator (which I didn't locate until after a couple of mis-orders on size). There is a notable size difference between the L/XL/XXL sizes. My husband is more barrel-chested than many of the high-tech jackets will tolerate. This one fits and hangs wel. We were looking for a jacket that would be for the Fall and early Winter seasons and it is working great. He has worn it a few times to warch our kids play sports on cool and breezy days and was very happy with the performance.

I bought two north face jackets and they were both great. My husband loves both just the same. One is very dressy like and the other is very warm perfect for any weather. Got both for great prices too! Recommend this one two thumbs up! Very warm and light easy to wear.

Mission Accomplished

I purchased this jacket for my brother and he loved everything about it. He's a shopper himself and has a vast wardrobe so buying for him is difficult. He's about 6'4" and the XL fit him perfectly and he loved the color (blue). Mission accomplished!

Great for our climate in Central California! My son loved the fit and he still can move around with ease since it is not a bulky jacket. He loves it!

Great Jacket

I bought this jacket for my son and he loves it. It is the best jacket that I have ever bought him. You cannot go wrong with this jacket!

It was exactly what I was looking for in my jacket. I bought it because I was going to London and it was perfect for the weather.

This is a very sharp looking jacket and I've been getting lots of compliments! Just be aware that it is not effective under 40 degrees.

Negative Reviews:

Orange isn't what it appears

Color online wasn't really close to what the jacket actually looks like. Returning it and bought a Columbia jacket instead...

Neutral Reviews:

When I purchased this jacket as a gift for my brother, I thought it would be a slightly heavier/thicker material as per the product description. Looks like it will hold up well, but layering will have to happen.
