Positive Reviews:

Nice 3 in 1 jacket that is good for 30 degrees plus.

Rating:****
I was recently wearing this in 21 degrees without a lot of wind and I was still a bit chilly. I really like the fleece as a standalone piece and the shell is actually very comfortable even with short sleeves on. I would have given 5 mooseheads, but it's just not warm enough. I will say it seems to fit more comfy than the Various Guide, but not sure why. They are equally usefull as a shell. I would also like to point out that the Green is more of a pea green that it looks like in the picture. The pic makes it look a little darker than reality.

Full of AWESOME-ness!

Rating:*****
--Great jacket!! I bought myself and my bf matching ones and he absolutely--positively loved it! I love how it fits and looks on me. You can wear it on a very cold day with both the fleece and the outer shell or wear just the fleece or just the shell. 3-in-1! What's not to love right?.. also has many pockets for storing things like wallet, phone, music player---type stuff. --I am extremely glad I found 'moosejaw'. They have great products and great customer service! I shop online a lot.. I mean a lot, and 'moosejaw' is one of the finest and very original! THanks MooseJaw!

Great North Face Triclimate

Rating:*****
This is a very comfortable and well fitted Triclimate from the North Face. I am 5'9" and the medium fits great. Very warm with the 200 gram fleece liner, which zips in and is a great jacket by itself. The outer shell is nearly waterproof and looks great. This jacket has seen temps in the teens, and I stayed very warm. The removable hood is very nice as well and covers the head nicely even when wearing a hat. Overall Awesome Triclimate. Thanks Moosejaw!!

Extremely pleased

Rating:*****

It's warm, it's waterproof & it looks good on. What more could one ask? I bought this jacket for my 14-year-old son (5'6", 125 lbs) in men's medium. Had originally ordered a small but it was too tight. The medium fits his frame well w/ plenty of room to grow. However, I don't agree w/ other reviewers that the Triclimates run true to size. I feel they run slightly small.

A little snug but ok

Rating:****

I recently bought this jacket and while I love it, I first got a large and while it was comfortable when seperated the fleece was too loose as was the shell if worn seperately.

I ended up getting a medium and while it is a little snug in the armpit area it isn't uncomfortable with just a long sleeved shirt or baselayer on.

I'm 5'6 150lbs

Love it.

Rating:*****

Love it. Extremely true to size. My first NF experience and wasnt disappointed. I'm 5'7 140lbs (asian built), I bought a Small and it fits me perfectly. Its true the armpit a bit tight but I dont mind it that much. Love the fleece, very warm and comfortable. I wear it in 20-30F weather and im warm as a toast.

Negative Reviews:

Discomfort...

Rating:**

Watch out for the arm pit area! I don't know what TNF was thinking with this design. The armpit area was the first thing I noticed in discomfort. This is area constricting with your arms relaxed, you can fell the zip pits pressure up against your biceps.

Don't "big" people enjoy the outdoors???

Rating:***

Well, what a great jacket. The problem is, it doesn't fit a large framed guy. I am 6"1", 265LBS. The jacket fit perfect everywhere except in the shoulders and around my armpits. Had to go with a non triclimate jacket which I love and will review later. By the way, anyone ever try to find a North Face ski pant that fit a 44" waist. Can't find any that will comfortatably fit over a pair of jeans. I guess only skinny people ski....
