Excellent Cold Weather Gloves!

As a dog owner, I can say I really appreciate this product! I go for 30-1.5 hour walks with my dog everyday, so I knew I needed something that would get me through the winter. Not only do they fit perfectly so I can have a perfect grip on everything, but they are super warm. My hands are always out of my pockets, so I knew I needed a warm pair and these fit the bill. Here in Washington, DC, the temps go from 15 F to 35 F in the winter, so that's a good idea of how warm these gloves are. Would definitely recommend it to a friend and I've already recommended it to all of my dog owner pals!

Good everyday gloves

The gloves held up good for the rough winter this year. I wore them to work,to shovel the snowy stairs or clean off the snowy car. They require a little upkeep with a damp cloth to keep them looking clean. They seem to have held up well with minimal to no wear. They handled shoveling the stairs and cleaning the car well with the dampness not really coming through. They also seemed to handle wind well without discomfort. I gave a 4 star because I didn't use them for active pursuits and I am sure there is a better glove out there that is a lot more expensive. I did buy two pairs.

I purchased these gloves when searching for a heavy weight fleece glove to wear for those chilly mornings walking/driving. They are very comfortable and warm, but were returned in the end as they were very similar to a pair I already own.

Negative Reviews:

Like the Denali jacket-not for cold weather use

I purchased these gloves in black, brown, and white to match my Denali jackets. I guess since my Denali jackets aren't warm enough to wear in cold weather I shouldn't have bothered with the gloves-if its cold enough for me to need gloves, its cold enough for me to wear my Denalis under my Nuptses and then these gloves just aren't warm enough for me. They're also quite bulky and have to be removed to do just about anything with my hands. I would not purchase them again, but they seem to be holding well, so I guess I will not need to.

Look nice, but disappointed

I needed a pair of cold weather gloves that would keep my hands warm in 20 degree temperatures. This was not a good choice. The gloves are sold alongside gloves for skiing, but the website describes them as a "cool weather” glove. There is no indication on the packaging as to what type of temps they are good for, so I took a chance on them. I walked in 28 degrees for about 30 minutes before my hands started to warm up. I will return them and look for something more appropriate.

Disappointment

I used the size guide and picked the right size. These were too big. I couldn't send them back as I had cut he tags off. However, I felt they didn't keep my hands warm. I was so disappointed, I really was looking forward to wearing them.
MonkaBell at The North Face on 02/08/2014

Gloves are just ok for the price

My hand measured a medium so I ordered a medium. The gloves are too big. I should have gotten a small. They are not very warm either.
