My first North Face...I'm in love!
For years, girls in my town wore these everywhere, I always wanted one, but could never afford one. Last weekend my husband and I were at Gander Mtn to look at a new fleece jacket for me. I had planned on buying a Columbia because they are so much cheaper, but of course, having always wanted one I wandered over to the rack that had the North Face fleeces. My husband, knowing how much I've always wanted one and told me to try it on. Here's the thing, I tried on a black one in M, and it fit, okay, seemed kind of small, not snug, just small. So I tried on the L, and it was okay too, this time a little big, would have been great for layering. So I tried on a white one in L, and it was huge. Tried on a white one in M, and it fit similar to the Black L. It seems the sizes vary, I'm not sure if it's in general or from color to color. I ended up getting the White one in M. I wore it on a 20 degree day over just a t-shirt and it was amazing. It's so thin, no bulk, which is great, but so warm! I love this jacket, and though they are expensive, I plan on going back this weekend to buy the black one, and maybe even pick up the pink one after Christmas. I would also like to add, you're paying for quality. I have friends who have had these jackets, wore them everyday through three seasons for three years and still have them. They don't wear out! They're warm, they're water-resistant, they're worth every penny. I don't regret spending so much on a fleece anymore! Highly recommend!!!
Great classic Denali jacket -
Obviously like a Chanel suit, or a great pair of Manolo's, the Denali jacket in black is a classic piece of any woman's wardrobe. All of the wonderful things that have been said of it are true. I only wish it had been sized a bit bigger - i'm a plus sized girl (sz 20-22) wanting to look as put together as my thinner buds and so I ordered the 3x directly from the source (never even seen a women's 2x at any store) paying list price. Thought this would fit perfectly (if not a little big) but it is, instead, quite snug and I'll likely only wear it with very light shirts underneath. The jacket does not have much give in the bottom band. Other than this, the arm length and shoulders fit a 3x woman (better than trying to fit into a men's xxl, which was my other choice :( ) . Love the look.
Awesome product!!
i bought the graphite heather grey in a medium. i debated forever on what size because i just never know whats going to fit! after reading some reviews i just went with the normal size i would go with in a jacket which is medium...i am 5'4" and 145lbs and the medium is the most perfect fit! i have another type of north face jacket the fuzzy one and its a large which when i wear alot of layers it doesnt look to big on me, but this one i can wear with a sweatshirt under it or just a tshirt and it fits great either way! im an average build and the medium fits perfect! the color btw is amazing..will match anything and the teal blue zipper just stands out and really makes it look nice! i highly recommend this jacket! i will be buying another one next year!
Best jacket EVER!!!
this is my first north face jacket and I am thrilled!!! The color I got was loganberry red and it Is beautiful and unique! The cut was perfect for me. They run a little big tho so I got a small and it fits perfectly! I am about 5"2. The delivery was a bit long. It was about 7 business days but it was totally worth the wait!! I was waiting all day till it finally arrivEd. It was really soft and in good ccondition. It seemed like it came right off the noath face website! I love it and it is totally worth the money!! Btw, this website is the best deal you're gonna get!! I hope you enjoy it;)
Beautiful Color
I ordered the Premiere Purple and the color is gorgeous. Its not really a dark royal purple as pictured but more of a raspberry color. But I love it so much better! Its soft and lightweight and fits me perfectly. I was scared to pick an XL because I wasn't sure if it'd fit around my hips. I'm between a size 16-18 and its fits just right. I'm a little more bustier but that wasn't even a problem surprisingly. I have the exact same jacket in the black in size XXL and it fits good too but just a little roomier if that's the look you want.
I had a really hard time finding the jacket my girlfriend wanted in her size. Zappos had exactly what I was looking for in stock. The first one that was sent to me didn't quite fit her right, however. When I contacted Zappos to correct the error, they could not have made it any easier. I was able to swap the jacket for a replacement (which fit her perfectly) with no hassles and within a couple of days. They even sent me the replacement before I shipped the original back to them! Fast, reliable service...I will definitely be shopping with Zappos again.
Wonderful jacket at such a great price
This is my second North Face jacket. I am as happy with this jacket as I was my first. I bought the dune beige and it was a great price and wonderful color. I wouldn't been able to find it cheaper anywhere else. I am excited for the cold days coming soon so I can wear it. Sunny Sports is a great site. . I love my North Face Denali jackets!!! I have several of them and have been wearing them for years now. You can dress up or dress down this jacket. I love wearing colorful wool scarfs with my black one or I'll wear a hoodie underneath my jacket. So there great for layering!!! I always tell people to get them. I was one of the first one of my friends and family to get one and now everyone has them. I will continue to be buying them until they are no longer sold!!!! :) <3
My First North Face Purchase
This is my first North Face product ever and I'm glad to say this product is amazing! It's very warm and stylish, which for a teen like me, is a great combo! I'm very small and my arms are a bit short however, so the sleeves felt a little bit long. I highly recommend getting your exact jacket size. My XS was loose in a comfortable way and gave me my shape, but I still had enough room for a pullover hoodie! Overall, it's a wonderful product that's definitely worth the price (:
Really Warm Jacket
This jacket is REALLY warm...I am 41 and maybe my age has something to do with this also, but, I find I have to take this off while shopping, as it gets really hot. Great for when you have to stand outside in the cold for hours volunteering, etc. Each of my six kids has one, ages 14 to 2 and they will not put on any other coat/jacket. They love these jackets,as they are not bulky, and, do the job of keeping them warm and looking stylish at the same time.

Denali Jacket
I have always wanted to add a brown fleece Denali jacket to my wardrobe. For Christmas, my boyfriend surprised me with the jacket as a gift. When I opened it, we both were very disappointed with the color. On the Northface website, the jacket looked like a pretty chocolate brown. In person, it looks completely different. The top part of the coat's color is a nice brown. The sleeves and lower body is a light taupe. Will be returning this jacket. Please go back to the solid brown color Northface made last year or the year before.
Want different color
I am a big fan of the North Face Denali jacket. I need to replace my existing Denali, but the colors manufactured the last few years have been AWFUL. I want North face to re-issue the classic beige/tan combo that they made about 4-5 years ago. The current colors are either too garish, too white (hard to keep clean), or too "heather" (I don't want to look like a lumberjack). I am NOT buying another North Face Denali until they make the classic beige/tan combo again. Is anybody at North Face listening??????
not a great value for price
Bought this for my daughter for next winter since this is what all the kids wear, and it doesnt even protect from the wind in the spring. Seems like your run of the mill fleece jacket I could purchase anywhere else for $20. Not a great value for that price. Not sure where all these other people live but definitely not great for new england.
Extremely disappointed in this jacket! I bought my normal size in it and it was too small for me to even zip up! This was my first north face and I was excited when it came in the mail today until I tried it on :( definitely returning this!
Denali fleece
179.00 $ jacket picked up at sports authority....very dissatisfied with this coat the sleeve was patched together to have enough fleece. Didn't notice at time of purchase, not until we were rolling off the dog fur
White Heather is not "White" but GRAY!
The jacket color is called "White" Heather however there is NO white on the jacket. It is pure Gray! Not happy with item!

Not as pictured (color)
Seems fine, but my daughter was disappointed when it came all grey instead of grey and white as in the picture - I argued with the guy at customer service since the listed color I ordered had an additional name added to the end "heather?" I can't remember specifics, but the customer service guy said that pictures on the internet aren't always the same, but this was pure white versus a dark grey, and he wasn't very keen on helping me get it straightened out. My daughter settled for the all grey coat because she NEEDED a coat for winter, but she was disappointed.
I love the look of these jackets, I ordered the brown heather. I noticed it sheds and there seemed to be no end to this shedding. For the price it should not shed. I had to return this jacket. It does run quite large also.
Fleece Residue
I really love the jacket and the color but the fleece residue just keeps leaving lint and fuzz all over my clothes and pants I wear underneath it and I even tried washing and drying it and it didn't do anything..what should I do??
Fuzz and Fibers come off of this jacket
Love everything about the jacket except it gets fuzz/fibers on all of my clothes when I'm wearing it. I would not have bought it if I had known because it is a major problem.
