The North Face Flying Frog 33 Bx Tent’s two large vestibules hold gear for three and a full mesh canopy means you won’t be breathing recycled air all night. Since no one wants to get to base camp and fumble around for fifteen minutes trying to set up, this tent uses a ball cap that joins the canopy and fly in a simple click. Fly tension keeps the canopy taut no matter how windy it gets. Plus color-coded clip webbing pairs with the anodized DAC poles and fly. Store your headlamps in the overhead pockets and settle in.

Great Tent

Rating:*****

This tent is great! It takes very little time to get the canopy up and the fly doesn't take long either. It withstood multiple thunderstorms this weekend. Its extremely roomy for 2 people and gear and 3 people wouldn't exactly be cramped. It doesn't just have great floor space but a lot of head room too.

There are 2 nice sized vestibules to store extra gear. My only complaint about the vestibules is how low the door was for exiting the tent.

There are 6 well placed internal pockets for extra gear I was excited to find! And a few handy gear loops on the roof

Buy the footprint for this product! Its lightweight and it will protect your tent from things it would come in contact with directly. You won't regret it!

So far so good, passes the basement test

Rating:****

I've only set it up in the basement, but it has passed all initial tests! Super easy to set up, loads of head room (i'm 6-2) both sitting and laying down. There is room for 2 large guys and their gear in the tent (vestibules are very large) or you can probably fit two large guys and a girl pretty comfortably. The fly is great and there are plenty of pockets and hangers inside the tent for storage. I plan on camping this weekend and the first week of June. I'll follow up after I have field tested it.

sweet tent

Rating:*****

good tent, I'm 6'5" and i fit very comfortably with room to spare. I love the vestibules and the space in them. The pockets are awesome and its relatively light for a 3 person tent. My only concern is how long it took me to set up, given i was by myself and i've only set it up twice. I'm sure it'll get easier. Overall, and awesome then...you won't regret the purchase.

great tent

Rating:*****

used this tent probably 5 times since i got it, in southwest montana and haven't had any complaints. so far just car camping, and one canoe trip. Poured on two separate outings, including hail and we stayed completely dry in the tent. Super roomy, with plenty of headroom, even with a medium size dog sleeping with us. Definately a great buy.

Definitely a solid tent...used it for 2 days on a beach...got rained on at night and stayed bone dry. Not enough ventilation though...it was real stuffy during the storms. The only way to get a breeze in is to open both of the vestibule flaps...this wouldn't have been an issue if it wasn't pouring buckets. Not enough air flow...
