Get ready to climb through the roughest terrain in the world with The North Face's 800-fill down insulated, bibbed Himalayan Pant. Comfort is paramount with thick down insulation bolstered by windproof WINDSTOPPER, a Crescent Drop Seat design, and adjustable suspenders that let you dial in the fit. Specifications based on size Large.

Features:

  • Cutting winds won't even touch you thanks to completely windproof and water-resistant WINDSTOPPER insulation
  • Don't worry about wear - abrasion panels on the new Crescent Drop Seat design keep these pants in good form - even when your evening's camp seat happens to be a rough granitic rock
  • Get the right fit with the adjustable suspenders
  • Layer it up - the standard fit leaves just enough room for additional baselayers
  • Make donning and doffing easier with the thigh-to-ankle cuff 2-way zippers while the snap-closure ankle cuffs keep snow and water out of your pants and boots
  • Move in warmth without the weight or bulk in 800- and 700-fill goose down with fully laminated and taped baffle construction
  • Stow your GPS or topo map in the Napoleon pocket on the soft, stretchy bib that features a 2-way, center-front zipper and Velcro adjustable waist band
  • Water and snow can't even get in at the zips thanks to polyurethane-coated zippers with laminated back flaps

The Beauty of Warmth!

Rating:*****

Okay, if you're looking to spend time high enough to require this kind of warmth or you're just doing some winter camping in the sinks, these are the way to go. These pants are rated if you're looking to head into temps below -40F but they'll go lower than that. They work very well with harnesses. Obviously gaiters are necessary but I'd wear them no matter when when I have these pants on. Patching a tear is fairly easy, but a pain in the hiney when you're in the thick of the cold. I tore my jacket and it was a pain but worked very well. The fit is great, they move well, they're very true to size and they don't seem to ride up at all. Killer pants. You'll love 'em!!!
