Okay, if you're looking to spend time high enough to require this kind of warmth or you're just doing some winter camping in the sinks, these are the way to go. These pants are rated if you're looking to head into temps below -40F but they'll go lower than that. They work very well with harnesses. Obviously gaiters are necessary but I'd wear them no matter when when I have these pants on. Patching a tear is fairly easy, but a pain in the hiney when you're in the thick of the cold. I tore my jacket and it was a pain but worked very well. The fit is great, they move well, they're very true to size and they don't seem to ride up at all. Killer pants. You'll love 'em!!! | |
