Great Work Boot for Hikers | |

| This is the second time I have purchased these boots. I work in extreme tough terrain, hiking over a'a lava for up to 8 hours a day. No boots last more than six months, but these do! You have to purchase inserts to be comfortable hiking for hours on end, and the laces often come untied, but the soles last forever! My coworkers and I buy tons of boots, and these are the best value! They are comfortable with very little break is needed, and give your feet enough room but keep them secure! | |

Maybe Not Ellen DeGeneres But A Killer Tongue | |

Very well made and constructed boot with lots of good features including Goretex waterproofing, breathes well, Vibram sole has a good tread pattern and good looks. Unfortunately the top of the tongue is a killer. It is very stiff and resulted in a pressure sore on my wife's anterior lower tibial region despite good thick hiking socks. This was during the break in period after only short use (about 1-2 mile walk). Item returned. | |
