When asked to describe The North Face Kilo 30 Degree Sleeping Bag, one of our customers commented, "It rocks my world, I wouldn't be without it here in the UK. Nice one North Face!" For temperate conditions in the backcountry, the Kilo Bag is the ideal lightweight option for mild-weather adventures. Insulated with 600+ Eastern European good down, this 30 degree bag is very compressible and weighs in at just over 2 pounds. Incorporating features such as Climashield™ Prism anti-compression pads and trapezoidal baffle construction, insulation is evenly distributed to prevent cold spots and keep you warm.
The North Face Kilo (or the 2.2-Pound Bag to us Yankees) 30-Degree is an amazingly lightweight and compressible goose down sleeping bag that gives you spacious comfort in freezing temps. Weighing a negligible 2lbs 1oz (hey that's LESS than a kilo!), this bag is perfect for backcountry touring and moving fast. Unlike many other The North Face Flight Series sleeping bags, the Kilo has a roomier shape with more generous space for the shoulders and chest. A vaulted footbox is spacious and extra warm for your feet and toes. The bag's 30D nylon ripstop shell is treated with durable water repellent to combat moisture. The Kilo's creature comforts include a color-coded pull cord for easy hood adjustment and easy-grab pull tabs and it stuffs down to the size of a football (an American one, that is)!
The North Face Kilo Bag is a lightweight down bag for backpacking in mild conditions.

Amazing little bag for the British climes...
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I'm a trekker... And have been out in this bag for two springs, summers and autumns in a row now... And it's really amazing how light it is and just how warm it keeps me at night. Gone all the way up to Scotland with it last summer, and while it provides me with a comfortable sleep, when the temperature gets down to 4 degree Centigrade (39.3 F) it does mean I need to wear my trousers and a jumper to keep me warm. Also... If space and weight are crucial to your journey, then this is definitely a good choice of bag. With a compression bag, this sleeping bag gets as small as 20cm in length and a diameter of 16cm. I can't rate this baggie enough... It rocks my world and I wouldn't be without it here in the UK. Nice one North Face! :) | |

Super Light, warm, long

| The Kilo Bag is longer than my previous Bass Pro sleeping bag, so I am not cramped in there. I am about 6' tall and the long version is good for. I also noticed it is super light compared to my other sleeping bags. The material and all feels like it will keep me warm and snug during my trips in the woods. With luck, it should last me many years. | |

| I have been using this for a while. Im a hot sleeper so i wanted to get something a little thinner. Unzipped with a leg out in the summer and toasty warm when snow is tapping on the top of my tent in the winter. Packs so small it gives me extra room in my sleeping bag compartment of my terra 60. fo sho! | |

Great bag | |

| I got into the bag on a wet night in Northern Scotland and had on my socks, tights and 2 tops and immediately had to strip down to my underwear as I was so warm! Was a bit disappointed about the weight as I've seen much smaller (but probably colder) sleeping bags, but had a great few night's sleep. Very cosy. | |

| it really is a great bag, big up totally; fits around ya well, zipper is nice (tougher material around it is even nicer :) ) and it packs down to nothing. Really warm at 0 but like i said, cold box ;) | |
