| I am one those who want the very best quality at a good price. After much research, the mountain light parka fit the bill. I live in Florida, so the zip in feature was important to me for all-weather versatility. The denali jacket is perfect with this. I have a tri-climate jacket, but it cannot compare to the mountain light/denali combo. These jackets last forever. I have two of them. One in the jewel blue/plume blue (it is actually a dusty blue and grayish color. Not really pastelish). The other is the moonlight ivory, which is ivory and plum-colored. This one looks great with the brownie-brown denali's. One is a size medium and one is a large and I wear them both. One fits more like a jacket, while the other is more baggy. Really it's the best of both worlds. One last note - do not go the ebay route with north face. I learned the hard way that 99.9% of these jackets are fake. Backcountry has the best prices and the best apparel/equipment in true top brands. This is the first place I check for skiing, snowboarding, biking, you name it. If you're a sports athlete or just an active family, you will need to save Backcountry in your favorites. | |

| Alot of people that I know carried the North Face brand, so I decided to check it out... I really needed a winter coat that could face the elements of snow and freezing temperatures, so I ordered this light parka. I really liked the style, color and its special features, but it lacked the total warmth that I needed for those below 30 degree temperatures. I realized that you also need to get the fleece to zip in to get the full effect. But on those mildly cold, wet and windy days, the parka does a decent performance. | |

There have even been a few cooler rainy days this summer when I have worn it alone and it is so well ventilated that it keeps me comfortable, depite being a ski jacket!!! | I spent 4 days and nights at Whitehorse/Canada in March to see Northern light and other sport activities. The temperature was around -20 degree C. This jacket kept me warm from the snow and wind with a fleece under layer. Couldn't believe I could look so good, not boggy at all and feel wonderful. Certainly I would suggest everyone to have one. | |

Then, it keeps me snuggly in bitter winter with just my own hoodie or sweater underneath! And it is slimming and cute! It is not as light as a 'rain' jacket, but you will LOVE this coat! | |

| I ordered this parka after losing my beloved North Face Denali parka I got as a gift in 2002. It is very similar and is a great replacement!
