Positive Reviews:

These pants Rock! I live in western Washington and i wanted a pant that will survive our soggy days. I wore these pants on a stormy day riding my quad in the mountains. the forcast was for 1.5inches of rain. we rode all day and i went through many 3ft deep puddles and had waves of water splashing me over and over all day. not a drop of water got through these pants. my friend was soaked through his gear in about the first hour. I have also taken these pants on many snowshoe trips (day and overnight). the full zip feature is great for easy on and off without taking off your snowshoes, and seconds as vents. I would recomend this pant for anyone that is looking for a pant that will not allow water in no matter what. However I do wish they were not insulated so i could wear them in the summer too.

I was looking for a pant that was nicely fitted ... not baggy. These pants fit great, enough room that they are very comfortable without being restricting in any way. The suspenders are a great addition because not only do they hold them up in place but the waist sits higher and keeps me warmer. (now all my baselayers fit tucked into these vs not in a traditional waist pant) I skied in power the first day and hard pack the second day in about 1 degree weather on the east coast and these kept me plenty warm and the gaiters kept all snow/moisture out. I would highly recommend to anyone considering. I am 6'1 about 210lbs and the XL fits great.

Joe.A at Backcountry.com on 02/12/2011

These are really nice pants, but do believe the other reviewers, they run small. I am 5'6" and weigh 155 and they fit a bit snug across my butt. What makes the snug fit even worse is the fleece like lining that velcro's/sticks to your long underwear. The don't slide freely and are grabby. If the lining was more slick this would greatly improve these pants. Another gripe is the bibs, they are a pain to figure out and don't function as well as they could if the had more than two attachment points. It would be great if they came in a shorter inseam also. 4 stars...

The best ski pants I've ever owned. Fit, finish and flex are perfect. Warm without the bulk, yet comfortable on spring days - just leave your long johns at home. Everything works as advertised, or better. Worth every penny, buy these.

rregart at Backcountry.com on 09/17/2011

I really enjoy these and they do as advertised, I have only ran into one problem with them the pockets are kinda fragile they are bonded together not sown.

Joey Bowen at Backcountry.com on 03/05/2012

Keep you dry and breath really well. They do ride a little high for my preference, but you can't have everything. I like em a lot.

robert coleman at Backcountry.com on 02/04/2012

Used these for a winter opener hike up Quandy peak and they performed flawlessly!

Negative Reviews:

I am pleased with these pants for only 20%.
The quality of material and seams good.
I am surprised, how pant of the same size can be different?
I have a lot of pants TNF, I always buy a size M pants and sit on me all perfect.
But these pants in addition to what they gave me small, so they are still short.
Inserts for knees , located above them.
Inseam - regular 32", inseam actual - 31".
Without base layer in them cold at -10C, if only to run and quickly climb up the mountain with a backpack of 60 liters in them more comfortable.
In TNF Cotopaxi pant, at -10C I feel comfortable, in TNF Fargo Gargo pant at -10C is warm.
I will go return.

Sergey at Backcountry.com on 03/03/2013

I returned these because they were too small (large did not fit my 34 in waist), fit too slim, the suspenders are useless, and don't really need full side zips for cruising the groomed slopes. Are you really ever going to need to make an equipment change that involves removing your snow pants while on the mountain?

Neutral Reviews:

I have a 34 inch waist and the Large was very snug. Not much room to move in the legs either. These have full length visible side zips which are not visible in the photo. The materials appear to be very good. Would size up two for proper fit with these. Interestingly, other TNF products do not seem to run this small.

jri4700929 at Backcountry.com on 02/09/2012

The pants were great really liked them, but they don't run true to size in the waist. I had to return them because they were just to tight in the waist.
