Ideal as both a stand-alone layer in cold conditions or as a layer underneath a waterproof shell during cold rain showers, this high loft down vest features sewn-through construction that keeps down shifting, eliminating cold spots. Double taffeta layer at shoulders increases durability with backpacks, and hem cinch-cord provides a buffer to ward-off upward gusts of wind.

| I had my eye on this vest for quite some time but never got around to buying one. It has to be one of the best vests I have ever used. Stylish, classic design, and it's WARM. You really can't go wrong. My only complaint would be that the right hand pocket zipper occasionally gets caught in the material making it difficult to open and close. Other than this it's a great vest, and I would be another one if they had a better selection of colors to choose from! | |

| I bought this vest to replace an old polargaurd one I had for years. Compared to that one, this is lighter, warmer and stuffs smaller. Even looks good - hard to ask for much more. Feels true to size. I prefer vests when I'm hiking for the increased arm mobility and that I don't build up excessive heat in the shoulder area like I do with jackets. Only probelm is that now my wife wants one too ;-) | |

| I bought these for myself because I hate to wear a coat. Mens jackets by Northface is a roomier fit with hooded sweatshirts. The woman's size fits a little snug with a sweatshirt while driving. The vest is a great buy and is extremely warm and cute, even though it's for a guy. I am pleased and very happy with my Northface purchase. It is also easy to clean. Just a damp cloth will do the trick. | |

| I found this the Nuptse vest to be extremely warm on dark, cold winter nights and it allowed a great deal of freedom of movement of the arms. I especially was appreciative of all the pocket room and the large one on the inside. It also stood up to a stiff,cold breeze very nicely and kept the wearer snug and warm. | |

| This vest is a fantastic layer for all weather types! Under a shell for warmth, wind barrier, rain barrier, or a nice spring jacket. It performs very well under all of those conditions. In addition to being practical, it is also fashionable, light, and comfortable. The materials are very nice to touch. | |
