Amazing
I love this jacket, it is about my favorite thing from the planet. The reason I got it, is because one day I was really cold, and my friend one of the jackets, and she let me borrow it, I could barrely give it back! It is about the softest thing that I have everf touched., and it is so warm for the weight, and size of it. The only one negative thingg about it, is that you don't want to get it really wet, but that is pretty much obvious, since it is a fleece. Another great thing, is that the colors match all the other north face colors, which is great for me, since I already have a north face winter coat, which is the orchis plum. I told my mom about the coat, and she was happy to get me one, even though it was , which even she agrees was totally worth it. When I was at the store, the just happened to have the same color as my coat, which just perfect. Now since the jackect matches my wintert coat, I wear out side all the time, and when I go skiing, I always wear it under my coat, for a little extra warmth. Overall this is about my favorite pieces of clothing, and defenotly one of the many great things that I have gotten from REI.
My Kids keep asking for Year after Year!
We live in the South where we do have cold weather but not enough to invest in really heavy coats. We need something that will keep us warm when it is below freezing but also works for those Fall and Spring cooler days. The Oso is perfect. It keeps my kids warm when they need a heavy coat, yet is not too heavy for the other southern seasons. It is so comfortable and they love to wear them. My daughter loves her white Oso, it is so soft and furry and very timelessly fashionable. Do not Fear the White, it is gorgeous and if she gets it dirty, I just toss it in the washer, hang to dry then fluff in the dryer for a few minutes and it looks as new as the day she got it. In fact, every one she has ever had has been lovingly handed down in Just like New Condition. The wonderful fit usually allows for 2 years of wear, which is what I love. I foresee many more Oso's in our future. In fact, next year I am buying one for myself
TNF scores a win with this jacket!
The Oso Hoodie is an excellent product for many reasons. First I would have to say the attached hood. My daughter hates getting cold at the bus stop so the hood helps keep the wind off the back of her neck, and her head warm. The second plus is the FEEL...it is so so so cuddly soft...sometimes she uses it as her "cozy" (blanket) to cuddle with. It has the same TNF quality and durabilty as all their other products. I am very pleased and will buy it again when this one is outgrown.
LOVE and very WARM!
I am 5'6", 110 lbs and bought an XL and it fits me perfectly. This jacket is super warm. I wear it in windy, Kansas 50-60 degree weather almost every day and I stay warm. Still fits great even when I wear a hoody under it. I bought the TNF White/Metallic and the only thing I was disappointed in is that the North Face Logo is a light grey color and is placed on the darker grey color so it is barely seen. But other than that I really love this jacket!!!
Size / Color
When I ordered this online for my eleven year old I was skeptical about the size and color. The blue color was acceptable to her but the size was too small. She wears a 12 normally but she needed the 14/16 in this jacket. We went to a store and found the proper size in a beautiful purple color. She wears it every day and I have to force her to remove it at night when she goes to bed or she would sleep in it.
Casual and cute Jacket
I bought this jacket for my daughter for Christmas which she had put on her list. She had gotten a North Face Oso Hoodie last year as a gift and loved it so much she asked for another one! She wears it all the time and loves the soft cozy feel it has and how warm it keeps her! Definitely a great buy and a jacket that will be worn time and time again!
Got it for my Granddaughter!
My Granddaughter has been wanting one of these Coats for awhile now. It's a Trend. She is 9 years old and she loves it!!! I must say she looks very cute in it. $100. is allot for a coat for a 9 year old but my daughter had me order it a bit big to get a couple years out of it but the look on her face when it arrived Fedex (Priceless)

Bought this for my step sister for Christmas and she LOVES it! The color on the screen does this jacket no justice! It is a beautiful purple and soooo soft! She is in that awkward in between stage of fitting into girls and juniors. So we got her an XL in girls and it fits perfectly! She will be able to use it for a few years to come! Highly recommend this!!
A Must Have Jacket
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter. Since she wore out the pink one I bought her I decided to go ahead with another one in black. She wears this everyday, she says it super soft, cozy and warm. She loves the hood on it, so when she needs it... it's there. She normally wears a 10-12 so I got her a large in this jacket. A good buy!
comfortable and soft
I bought the fleece because of its soft material however, it is also light and comfortable. I wear it under my coat or jacket for extra comfort and by itself.it looks great with anything and feels great as well. I wouldnt reccommend it in wet weather because of the plush but your definately getting your money's worth out of it. I wear it a lot because of the comfort and warmth.

Oh so cute, but....
Seriously North Face? The sleeves are so way too short. My 13-year old outgrew her size Med. Oso from last year (in length only), so I purchased this one for her in Gray/Pink size Large 14/16. She loved it! And then she tried it on. It barely came to her wrists and when she bent her arm, it was simply too short. FYI, she is only 61" tall, which is a Large according to your charts. Her waist/hip/chest measurements put her in a size Medium. And no, she doesn't have unusually long arms. She is normally swimming in her hoodies and jackets. Sorry, but outerwear with too short of arms are just not comfortable nor are they in style. She fits fine in your adult XS, but they do not come in the fun color combos.
i bought this and the body was perfect, but the sleeves were WAY too short, this happened to my friend, too. (size M)

oso hoodie girls by the north face
I purchased 2 of these right before Christmas for my two grandaughters-they had to have certain colors and certain sizes in those colors only. I had look at all of the local stores and couldn't find their sizes in the specific colors that they wanted. So I turned to . They had the exact colors and sizes so i clicked and got them on the way. The girls loved them and it made their Christmas. That had been all that they asked for and if not for Rock Creek their Christmas would have been spoiled.
Pretty, but not that warm
This jacket is awesome soft and cute, but not as warm as I thought it would be. I imagine it would be good for temps from 60F to 40F. We live in Michigan so the use would be limited. I returned it for something warmer.
