Love this hoodie! It's so cozy and warm, like wearing a silky soft stuffed animal.
I've been wanting a North Face Oso Hoodie for quite a long time now but wasn't thrilled about the cost. This one went on sale so I went for it. I absolutely love this hoodie. It is very cozy and warm. This hoodie and a tshirt is enough to keep me comfortable during the 30 degree Ohio days. I'm not sure why some people are saying to order a size up. I am 5'5", 135lbs and I bought the medium which is what I normally wear. I could have gotten away with buying a small. The medium fits well across my shoulders and there is plenty of room to grow,(not that I want to). Overall I love this hoodie and plan to buy more, on sale of course. As for Moosejaw customer service, they are awsome!
This jacket is like a hug you give to yourself all day.
I’ve wanted this jacket for 5 years. I teach school and started seeing kids wearing this soft, vibrantly colored jacket on a daily basis. When I looked up the price I choked. While Christmas shopping this year i said screw it, I'm buying one- until I looked at the price tag. I came home and just for the hell of it googled North Face and stumbled across Moosejaw's site. With the discount, plus a coupon I saved about $40. The jacket came in yesterday and I’m in love. It is as soft as a cloud and on this 24 degree day it is quite cozy and warm. People have complained about it shedding. I've only had it for 48 hours, but so far nothing is shedding. I find it true to size, color and comfort.
More than just a pretty jacket
I have the Oso hoodie in ION blue, size large- the color in person is a gorgeous,vibrant lightish aqua. This is the softest, most comfortable jacket- and the hood is lined too, which is an added bonus. The smooth fabric on the shoulders and hood is good at repelling water and also protects the jacket from wearing down on the shoulders from carrying a purse, like what happened to another fleece I have from a different company. I am 5'2' and the sleeves are surprisingly not super-long, and the jacket hits at low hip-length. This fleece is excellent at retaining body heat and layers well without feeling super-bulky. The only regret I have is not getting this sooner!
Cozy and Warm jacket!
I've been wanting this jacket for awhile, and I finally ordered one for myself because of the sales is going on. I had 4 North Face jackets already. I loved them so much. It keeps me warm and cozy. I had 2 Denali jackets, I loved them. This is the first one that I owned for this style. I got the premier purple in small size. I am about 5'3 and 115lbs. I can fit XS but I like it a little loose , so I can wear a hoodie or sweatshirt under. XS is perfect fit for me if I had a thin and tight t-shirt on. I am thinking to get another color next month.
Very Comfy and Warm
I live in Seattle and this jacket is amazing. The hood really saves the day and keeps the rain out of my face. Contrary to popular belief it doesnt pour rain here all the time, mainly just a misting, so I havent had a problem with it actually soaking all the way through. It is super soft and it fits great. One problem I find is that if I dont zip it up all the way the zipper sides rub my neck and its kind of uncomfortable, so I just zip it up fully. Also, the kodak blue color is more of a teal, which I knew beforehand and I totally love the color!
Warm and light
For those fluffy girls out there...this jacket is awesome. The chest area is not tight and is larger in the waist. I actually have this jacket, but its purple and fushia size XL. Not sure if mine is newer or older, but it doesn't shed as much as everyone says. I washed it after wearing it for a couple of months and it still looks great. I was told not to add fabric softener and to line dry, and it worked. Unlike other jackets this is loose fitting with a drawstring bottom to keep the draft out. It doesn't cover my bum all the way, but it is still very warm!
I was very disappointed with Zappos for the first woman's Oso hoodie I received, because when it arrived, which shipping was great one day,the hoodie arrived with no tags and stains on it. However, Zappos immediately sent me a new hoodie which was perfect. I ordered a woman's medium and I would say it fits true to size and is extremely comfortable, and I ordered this hoodie in white and I don't find this hoodie to shed as I wear a lot of dark clothing and all I can say is it is just perfect. You will not be sorry. Well worth it. Thanks North Face for yet another great item.
Soft+ cute+ warm= North Face Oso Hoodie
I got this with baroque purple.(Small)Size: TTSThe material is very soft so I really enjoy to wear it. You will look like cute teddy bear.(That is what I heard from my friends.)The hood is not the same material of rest of this product which I like.Also, it is very light you can pack this fleece to the backpacking bag or day-pack for extra layer since it is winter. I don't think you expect ultra warmth from this product anyway.It is warm but not hot hot hot...(It is a fleece jacket not down jacket)I can wear them for casual wear as well.
This coat is JUST what I was looking for and I had a really hard time choosing which one to get. I've seen several reviews that said that this coat sheds a lot. I've had this coat for four months. I've washed it several times and I have not had this problem at all. I have not noticed one time where "fluff" has been left behind. The only thing I wish is that the sleeves were longer and the coat itself were just a bit longer. Other than that it fits great and is SO warm and cozy. Love it!
Love my OSO
I've had my OSO for a few years now and it is by far my go to jacket, it keeps me warm and cozy in the winter but isn't too hot to wear in the transition months. My sleeves are a bit short and it is tighter that my other northface products but it is so soft it is worth it. NOTE: don't wash it at home, take it to a dry cleaners, the softness will go away if you wash it at home.

I loved this coat until I washed it for the first time. It is no longer soft and all matted downs,also, shreds fur all over. I know others that have the same coat in black and have no issues. Have you heard of this from other customers?

I was so excited to buy this in tea berry pink but it was actually florescent orange i was so disappointed and i had to pay to return it don't get fooled buy the stunning color on the website YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED!!
