These are great, warm and cozy. Even though my fingers were extended straight... the glove fit but seemed very difficult to grab what I needed without trouble. I have owned a couple different 'touchscreen compatible' gloves but these are a little different. Answer a call, maybe take a picture, these work. Text or do anything more than that, no go. The tip isn't made for that capability BUT where your actual fingerprint is, it is. They would be a great spring ski glove. They really do keep that brisk cold off your hand but I will be downsizing to a more casual glove. The Etip without the Windstopper.
These gloves are perfect for quick trips outside or to run errands. I love the touchscreen fingertip! They wouldn't be warm enough for extended outdoor use, but I've thrown them on for the last few weeks of bitter cold when I'm running somewhere, and they're cozy enough to keep me warm going from the car to store, etc.
Pretty much all TNF stuff is quality. These appear to be no exception. Windstopper should compensate somewhat for low insulation making them a 3-season glove. Pretty understated aesthetic, nothing too trendy. 3/4 of the palm has a light, rubberized grippy pattern. Hope Mom likes 'em. If not, BC has a great return policy.
