amazing shell. super tough, totally waterproof and kick a.

Bought this jacket on sale here for an amazing price. The fit of this jacket is awesome. I wear a medium and am 6'3" 185. Perfect slim fit with just the right amount of room and doesn't cut into my pits. The athletic fit is long and comes well below my belt line. I have beat this jacket up pretty good against rocks and brush and not a scrape or mark to be found on the gore Tex shell. Cinch cords in the hood and waist secure this thing right around your body to keep the elements out. This is a bare bones shell without a lot of bells and whistles but is built to last and gets the jobs done beyond belief.

Lightweight, Bomber Shell

Basically perfect - no unnecessary complexity. Big enough pockets for mitts, small internal great for chapstick/torch and you don't have to open main zip to get to it. Drawcords are in pockets = no snagging. Huge hood actually fits over a helmet. Has belay zipper, and no skirt - this is a climbing jacket. Velcro tabs are the rubber chunky ones that don't kill fleece. Love TNF pit zips - opposing sliders "pinch" the middle to help keep spindrift out. Pay attention, AT - you have great fabrics, but your design isn't half this good. 5'10", 195 lbs., L is perfect.

Decent shell if not for the price.

Firstly i am fairly small. 5'7" 130 pounds and i got a small. Its not as fitting but thats totally fine, as i could easily layer anything beneath. Material feels super durable, some may be annoyed by the crinkly and rustly sound it makes. Its pretty light which is decen for packing. However it does not breath as well as i'd like it to be, but then i get hot easily, so with the large pit zips i am totally fine. The only downside is the price, but you pay for what you get, its a gore tex pro shell.
