The North Face Powerstretch Glove Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I was looking for something to keep my hands a little warmer during cool winter backpacking on the Northcoast of CA... I didn't need anything bulky, and I like to have all my digits fully functional when on the trail, so these gloves seemed to fit the bill just fine. They are the perfect temperature, not too warm (my hands get sweaty in some gloves, not these!), but sufficient enough to protect me from temps around 35*F... my only complaint is that there isn't any grip on these gloves. There should be some bits of silicone or something on the finger tips to give you something to grab with. When I was reaching for my 8oz. fuel canister it was pretty slippery in the smooth grip of this glove. If this glove had a few strips of grippiness, I'd give it 5 stars...

Nice fast gloves

Got these yesterday, put them on and they have a nice warm feel to them on the inside. They're not bulky whatsoever and feel like you could grab just about everything with them with no problems. They're form fitting (sort of like neoprene) and their 'radial articulation' or whatever I think means that they won't wear out very fast, but the seams might take a second to get used to. They also have a small, non-obtrusive clip so you can click them together and not lose them, or while cliff-hanging from the gutter of the house after sliding off the icy roof, you could work one off and try to clip it to the other one just for style points. Overall I'm pretty happy. Love me some TNF and Moosejaw.

Great fit and can layer too

I bought these for use in the fall/winter and eventually in the early spring for morning walks when the temps are low but not frigid. So far they've lived up to my expectations and have done a good job with keeping my hands warm on moderate days. I've also found that I can use these as a base layer under my other North Face gloves. This is the second pair I bought , to use with different coats, and I can say with confidence that I'd reccomend these gloves to anyone looking for a pair of good light weight gloves.

Great gloves for everyday and light trips!

These gloves serve their purpose: to keep your hands warm. They are nice and thin and not too bulky that would make everyday situations cumbersome, but they are definitely warm. I usually use them for running. I keep them next to me in my tent when I'm out on a trip, and usually use them while I cook breakfast or just wandering around the immediate camp site. Overall great gloves, you will not be disappointed!

Great gloves and very comfy and warm.

The stretch material on this is amazing and you can never go wrong with North Face! I have the Denali gloves as well and these are just as warm! Very happy with my new gloves that I got for Christmas that I just had to come on here and give it a review! Thank you Moosejaw for providing me with more winter apparel!

Excellent fit and comfort

I am impressed with the fit and feel of these gloves. I have owned gloves made by other major companies and these fit the best by far. They seem to be quite warm while keeping my hand dry. The quality seems to be of a high standard with tight stitching and seem work. They are worth every penny.

Great gloves for your money!

These gloves are perfect for cool winter days. They are very flexible so you can use them for many activities in the cold you usually wouldn't be able to with bulky winter gloves. They are very warm and they keep the cold out. Another great product from the North Face!
Janice at Moosejaw on 01/06/2012

great gloves, esp for running in winter or driving any sort of recreational vehicle..

not ideal for snowball making though. Men who are average height or taller, go Large at least on glove sizes. Medium fits a 5'4 woman much better than a 5'11 male.

Warm gloves

These were for my son in Atlanta- they do have cold mornings there. He swears by them. they keep him nice
and warm until the car wars up.

100% recommended, fill the function in caring hands of cold days, plus they are very comfortable and cute!, I will buy more for my family!

Negative Reviews:

Fails at the mission of being a glove

I think a glove should be warm, keep your hands dry, and be comfortable, these gloves fail on all accounts. I have several NorthFace products and this is the only one I have given a bad review on. Don't waste your money on these.

Neutral Reviews:

Had to get the extra large for a comfortable fit.
Nice material, stretches well. Warmth is there. Not
to thrilled about the thumb-forefinger guard? padding? patch. It's like they added it on as an after
thought. There's plenty of edge after the sewing seam that catches on everything. Not happy about it.
