| I was looking for a light, medium weight fleece and the Pumori seemed to fit this category. I just got it so I can't say how well it performs outdoors. My pros and cons are based on trying it on for the first time: PROS: - Love the Alba Green. It looks greyish in the photo but is actually a nice sage color. - The fleece is sooo soft. I can't stop touching it. - It's longer and more fitted than most fleece jackets. I'm 5.7 with a long torso and it sits five inches below my hip bone. The total length is 26" (medium). - Can wear alone as a jacker with other garments underneath yet seems slim enough to layer under a shell (though haven't tested yet). CONS - Would prefer to have the cinch cord around the middle instead of at the bottom. Makes more sense to me. - The arms are rather loose to allow for layering underneath. However, I would prefer a more fitted sleeve. - There's no media pocket - only two side pockets. - North Face branding: Why do they have to put their label everywhere? It's overkill. There's a NF label on the front and back of the jacket as well as on the pocket zippers. Personally, I don't like to go around like a walking billboard. - The neck is a little big and would let cold in. Over all, I'm happy with the purchase. I live in Seattle and I think it'll be fine for the weather here. It would be too warm/bulky for heavy exercise but perfect for walks around Green Lake on chilly days, fall hikes in the Cascades or coastal camping. For summer hikes, I prefer my NF TKA fleece (100 weight). The ideal fleece for me would be a hybrid of the TKA (no hood) and the Pumora. It would have the tailoring/style of the TKA with the warmth and length of the Pumora. Throw in a media pocket, stretch elastic around the sleeves and a cinch cord around the waist and you'd have the perfect jacket! | |

Comfy cozy | |

The fleece itself was extremely soft and I loved it. The cut looked attractive and feminine, but I ran into a sizing problem. I would have to say these run big. I haven't bought any other jackets from north face so I don't know if this is a brand thing, but I ordered a small and it was way to big. I'm 5'8, 140, by no means the smallest or most petite girl in the world. But, even with a hoodie on underneath the small it still had lots of room to spare and looked really bulky. I wanted this piece as a layer for cold-weather backpacking, and even so it was way too bulky. I'd feel like a stuffed animal wearing it under a shell. The sleeve were the right length, and it hit me at the right part of the hip; it was just much too wide. So, I swapped it out for an XS and its much better. Just a warning, I'd go a size down what you usually wear.

Ultimate midweight fleece jacket

| This is my first TNF clothing item and I don't think that I can go back to cheap fleece anymore. The cut, the material, and the construction are all top notch. It is not too thin or too thick. With a slightly tapered waist, it is cut for females. I love the Odyssey Pink color. It hides dirt better than white and pale blue and more cheerful than black. The color and the jacket are making a statement saying "I am a girly girl who loves outdoor activities!". The price isn't cheap but it's $ well spent. I don't need another fleece jacket until this one runs its course. =) | |

High Quality Basic | |

| I like my Pumori jacket as an alternative to my Denali when the weather is a bit warmer and there is little to no wind. Or, if it is extremely cold, as a zip in to a shell. I bought the black one in a size Medium Women's which is cut fuller than the Denali Women's Medium, by way of comparison. I really like the jacket, it is functional, it is a true black unlike some faded or charcoal blacks, it fits well, and the North Face logo is a true white against the black and is attractive. I may soon have to buy myself another color! | |

Great but bulky | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I'm a little more vain than most as such, I resist any attempt to add bulk to my frame. I am always extremely pleased with any Northface product, and I was with this one- it was warm and fit just right sleeve-wise, length-wise and size-wise. However, it was a little bulkier than I expected. Granted, I've been spoiled by the Northface Apex Bionic, which is deceptively warm for its thin layering, so please interpret bulkiness in the context of my expecting almost a bodysuit fit...

Great Basic Fleece | |

| I bought this jacket for my girlfriend and she loves it! It fits well, is the perfect length in the arms and back. It is also super warm and soft. The only downfall is that it isn't windproof, so if that is what you are looking for, don't get this jacket. It is perfect with a light shirt under it for a cool day or great for layering under another jacket. Overall, a perfect basic fleece! | |

good fit for normal sized girls

My daughter thought she wanted the Denali jacket until she tried it on. She is a little larger sized girl and that jacket was a little too trim in the cut for her. She found the Pumori and it was a more generous cut and it fit her much better all over - even the sleeves were a little wider and fit her better. She was really happy with it and has enjoyed it a lot.

Decent midweight | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I bought this jacket for my fiancee since she did not own a decent casual jacket. And that is just what this jacket is; a decent casual jacket. It's nothing special. It's over priced, but if you can get it on sale, it's worth it. The fleece is uber soft, but don't expect it to block any type of wind.

Great fit | |

| I bought this jacket as a gift for my wife and she loves it. She says it is true to size and not bulky at all. Very comfortable to wear for long periods and can be used as a layer when it gets really cold. She is 100% happy with the fit of the jacket. She was concerned that the sizes may not be accurate, but she says it's perfect. | |

Nice styling, great jacket
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I really like this jacket. The styling is nice and I like that it is long. I also like the banding on the sleeve/arm opening. I do agree with everyone that is does run large. I didn't believe it, so I ordered a large, but I could have gone with a medium. The large still fits, just more roomy than I usually wear. | |

Made in China? | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I love this website, but I learned more about the materials that are in our landfills than about the products performace. I am more concerned about the fact that Northface has jackets, shoes, and other outdoor gear made in China than I am about what is going on in our landfills. I will keep shopping for another jacket NOT made in China.

Fuzz balls galore!! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I bought the red fleece and was extremely disappointed. It created giant fuzz balls all over the jacket and also left them behind everywhere I went. I have a black fleece from a few years back that I loved...Maybe it's the recycled materials that North Face is now using???

Nice at first but shows wear after about 6 months
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I really loved this jacket when I first got it. I have the moonlight ivory color. But after about 6-8 months, the fabric started looking very worn and pilly. Now after a year of owning this jacket, the color is less ivory and more "dirty white" and the fleece is not very soft. I did follow washing instructions every time and washed in gentle cycle. Also, it is not very warm in colder temperatures (below 40). Overall, the fit is great (so much better than TNF Denali) but I would not buy this in moonlight ivory again. | |

Jacket already looks shabby
| Rating: | ![]() |
Bought 2 of these for 2 teenagers. They love their jackets and wear them all the time. On the otherhand am disappointed in the quality of the jackets for the price. They have been washed one time, inside out, following washing directions to the 't', no dryer, softner, etc. Both look like they shrunk and fleece of jacket fronts look very worn like they've had jackets for years.
