Love it! | |

I love my red point jacket! It is my first NF, and I think it was a great choice for me (Thanks ArkansasNomad for recommending it!) It is perfect for winter in the South. I am always toasty warm when I wear it (Of course, it doesn't get much below the 20's and 30's where I live, so keep that in mind). My jacket is Alba Green, and I get complements on the color all the time. I also get complements on it because everyone here has a Denali, so it stands out in a crowd of fleece. I love the texture on the Redpoint as well. It is so smooth. I opted for a small, and it fits nicely with room for a little layering underneath. My only complaint is that the sleeves are just barely long enough, and I normally like them a little too long on a jacket, but this hasn't been a problem for me really. Overall, it is just what I wanted. I think it will hold up and look nice for a long time because of the durable material.

"Don't Shop Around, This One Is The Best"

| I purchased this jacket a while ago and I wanted to wait to write a review until I knew that it was great. So that is why I am writing this, because it really is great. It is warm for being thin and not poofy(makes a good fall jacket alone,a good winter one when layered),which is exactly what I was looking for. The wind does not go thought it. It fits great;I got it in a medium. I think it is the best coat that I have purchased, and I have purchased many different jackets. So overall it is warm, fits great, comes in great colors, and I would suggest this North Face Redpoint Jacket for anyone. Plus I got a discount from MooseJaw and it was a ton cheaper than directly from the North Face site. | |

Warm and soft | |

| I bought this coat because I wanted something that was warm to travel with, that could be layered, and that would pack down into almost nothing. I was looking at down coats but was convinced by the salesperson that this was a better option---it would pack down better and also wouldn't be a complete disaster if it got wet. I love it---it is very warm (I hate to be cold), very wind-resistant, and it packs into one of it's own pockets. I like the cut--it is somewhat fashionable instead of looking completely like a "backpacker." I am purchasing a waterproof shell that this coat can zip into and serve as a liner---on its own, it is water resistant only. I definitely recommend it. | |

comfortable and sooo cute

| The first time I tried on this jacket after it arrived, I didn't want to take it off! It is extremely soft and warm for being so lightweight. Purchased a size large (I'm a size 10/12, bigger in the hips), and it was flattering... great length, and not too tight or too loose. The Captiva Pink is very pretty as well. Unfortunately, there was a small tear on the front of the jacket when I received it... so I didn't wear it on the mountain and therefore can't comment on performance. Will exchange it for something more durable, but am very sad because this one was so darn cute! Still 4 stars for fit/comfort, great pockets, and appearance. | |

Lightweight but effective

Great versatile jacket! I've used this lightweight jacket with a light-wt polartec jac underneath it for all my car travels to stores, restaurants even in frigid conditions. Once indoor, you can leave the polartec on if you're chilly. I have a light stowable rainhat of similar material that I leave in the roomy pocket to substitute for a hood when there is unpredictable rain or snow. It fits well, not too much hip coverage for real cold days. It's probably not for extended time outdoors in very cold weather. It's surprisingly warm, as you add and take off additions, underlayer, lt hat, scarf, gloves.

i love this jacket. Its soft, warm, comfortable and breathable. I love that i can wear it when i'm chilly in a cold room or when i walk my dog in the 30s. the medium fits my arm length best, and is a little loose (but not frumpy) in the tummy fit. I'm a size 6 and i'm pretty pleased with the fit. Im excited to test it out in my month back packing trip to central and south america, as it packs down into the pocket for awesome portability. buy it. its a go!

"IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!"

| I just moved to Denver and I hate cold weather! I spoke with Moosejaw's customer service online help and they were excellent. I told them what I was looking for and everything I needed and this ended up getting this product. It is amazing and I love it! If you want something warm, lightweight, fashionable, and not bulky...this it the jacket for you! I am warm all the time and am actually enjoying myself in the cold atmosphere. I will definitely by all my products (winter and summer) from them in the future! | |

Best. Jacket. Ever. | |

| This is the best jacket I have ever owned. Seriously. I'm not much of an adventurer but I hate being cold and wet on a winter day. I use this jacket on the weekend as well as on top of my jackets during the work week. It is lightweight, super comfy and kinda stylish. I just wish it had more hidden pockets - but then again, many women's jackets done. I love this jacket I think I might have to purchase it in the white! :) | |

So Warm! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
This Jacket is exactly what I wanted! I wanted a warm NorthFace that wasn't too bulky and blocked the wind! I go to school in Western, PA and it gets pretty cold and snowy. It's also water resistant so I'll stay dry. I will most likely wear it until it gets to under 10 degrees where I'll have to break out the huge puffy coat. Overall this was definitely worth it, lightweight and thin, but very very warm!

Love it. For the days when it's not cold enough to warrant the big down coat-this one fills in. It is by far my favorite coat yet. A few layers under- and it is great for an afternoon hike or walking the dog in the winter. Did I mention that I love it? Fits pretty true to size also. Not for severe winter weather, but good for everything else- it's my go-to jacket this year.

Too small... | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I had to return my jacket. I am 5'8 140 lbs and smaller on the top and I usually wear medium size jackets and tops. The medium was too tight through the shoulders. I was surprised because I am not very broad through the shoulders. Just something to think about...
