Kid: Comfortable, Dry. Fashionable.
We purchased this for our oldest daughter recently and it has exceeded expectations. It easily keeps her dry in the rain, the colors are great (see pic), but more importantly the attention to detail in the design is what has won us over - for example, the flap at the top of the front zipper facing her chin is padded with a soft material, meaning that she doesn't mind it rubbing against her - which may not seem like much, but in my experience your 5-year-old generally makes it known when they aren't comfortable. The material seems very durable and well-constructed as well - a great value.
Land of Oz
My daughter and I went to the land of Oz in October 2011 and Ended up pulling our her Resolve Jacket to keep her warm and dry since it was snowing and extremely windy on the Back side of Beech Mtn. The Land of Oz is only open once a year and we were not expecting snow! Needless to say she was much warmer and dryer than the characters and Loves her resolve jacket! She will also use her jacket to snowboard for spring season, or when we layer with it! It is her favorite jacket! Thank you NorthFace!
LOVE LOVE LOVE
I purchased this jacket for my 11 year old and she loves it! It is the perfect three season jacket for us here in Vermont. On cooler day's she pairs it with her North Face fleece underneath and keeps toasty warm. Great pockets just were you need them and fun color, North Face always get's it right!
Amazing Jacket
I'm thirteen and i love to wear big clothes. This jacket exceeds my expectations. Its big and loose and perfect for when I'm in the rain. (I purchased the youth XL) I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Also, my mother has an XS Women's Resolve Raincoat and my youth size is bigger than hers.
This jacket is the perfect layer for rain and when it's cold we just throw on a fleece layer underneath. We bought one size bigger so that we can layer if we want to and are also hoping the size lasts for more than one season as my daughter has been growing like a weed. :)
I love this coat. My daughter needed a rain coat and this coat is prefect. She absolutely loves it. She grabs it when the weather is bad. It fits great. I bought it big so she would have it for a few years. I would definitely recommend this coat.

I recently got this for my 8 yr old daughter, and she loves it! I wasn't too sure about the green when I saw it online, but it is beautiful! I love this coat so much- I want one :)
Excellent shell. Rolls up into a suitcase or backpack nicely for those unexpected rains. However, it is just a shell, for warm weather rains, not fall or winter rains.
Vibrant pink color. True to size. Folds up nicely in a backpack for school days when rain is forecasted. Great coat. Well made.
